Although this game is fairly violent, it does not glorify violence as many of todays other games do. In U.S. bases, the radio announcer complains about having to be in Vietnam ("The temperature today is a chilly one in the low 90's, and the humidity is in the low HUNDREDS, so its lower than normal") Your fellow soldiers have some personality and you feel a twang of guilt when they die near you. You can also play the music that soldiers listened to from your vehicles so it teaches you about an entire 2 decades and the lifestyle at the time. You get stupidly immersed in the gameplay that when i was being shot at, I in voluntarily "ducked" to avoid the bullets while playing the game, so it might disturb players with less experience with such games.
Although it is gory in parts it is definitely one of the best. The vehicles are awsome and accurate, weapons are of that era, and vehicles don't over rule infantry entirely! The graphics are also realistic. It might desturb younger players but not the older ones seeing as we are already exposed to many of these games. Overall I give it a B- for violence. an A- for language, because I believe there are a few curse words. An A++ for graphics, and an A+ for game play. Overall I give it an A.
