Blue Dragon is a great game. The turn based fighting system is typical, but with fun flashy and simple to control. It is not too hard, but is a very long game, expanding over 3 discs, so be prepared for a real adventure. The violence could easily be in an E rated game, the enmeies are cute, even when they are supposed to be scary. The violence consists of using these shadoes of creatures to defeat monsters. They just punch the monsters or use an elemental attack to damage an enemy. It is magical game with magical abilities and ideas. Language is very mild, but enough to get a mild T rating. B*stard is used 2 or 3 times, as well as few uses of d*mn and h*ll. Other mild language is said, like jerk and stupid. There are nothing to sexual in this game. A character is assumed to be in love with a another character, but they are both kids and nothing sexual happens between them. A character that joins your group wheres a semi revealing outfit, with a little bit of mid-driff and a bit of cleavage. Her breasts move a little bit when she acts in battle, but the camera is behind the main characters, and there is no real focus on this. There are a few references to alcohol, but nothing explicit. All in all, only buy this game if you like old fashioned RPGs and are willing to sit through a long game.
