Crackdown is sure, Clearly violent with Limbs and chunks of flesh.. But its played out in a really stupid way making it impossible to take seriously, Or you must be an utter wimp to be disturbed by the blood and gore in this game. Calling this game "gory" would be insulting games Like Dead Space and Call of Duty World At War. The language is just f words. You know the general stuff.
Honestly, I wouldn't let my daughter play this game, but not for the reasons you would think. Sure, the game is violent, the characters a bit odd, etc. That doesn't worry me, considering the extensive time I've spent with my daughter playing games and talkinga about the content, make-up, and about video games, movies, and media in general. However, the reviews make a good point about the way the Agents and the Agency are portrayed in the game. I think it's important to point this out to our kids: that the "good guy" isn't really that much of a "good guy" at all. Not only would it be extremely educational for our kids, but it's also a lot of fun. The violence is cartoonish, at worst, and even avoidable in some instances.
No, my main problem with this game is the online things. I've played extensively online... And, turns out, they're not the friendliest of people. Not the least bit, either. IN FACT, I think they have to be the most depressing, foul-mouthed a-hols I've yet to meet with games with an online function. Goodness...
This game is a bit gory but it would not effect you at all it is so cartoony that it is not disturbing, the language is....well, ok for a kid as long as he/she is mature enough other than that no problem. There is a good part to it though its not like GTA where your a bad person your a agent who works for the government who tries to get rid of zombies and gangs, I say it it sends a positive message.
