This is an excellent game for kids and adults. The only gotcha is that if your child isn't good at using the nunchuck and the wiimote at the same time, then they might become frustrated. The free play option is great for younger players to become familiar with the controls without being rushed by the clock in story mode. Free play for a level is enabled after that level is completed.
