The Wii has some very good shooters: the Resident Evil Chronicles series, House of the Dead Overkill, HotD 2&3 Return, Call of Duty: World At War, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and The Conduit. Now, one can add Dead Space's new Wii-only prequel to the list. I actually have never played Dead Space (but plan to). However, I have played some of Extraction, and it's great. Graphics are good by Wii standards, and the gameplay is awesome. If you have the Wii Zapper gun, it's easy to use it with this game. But note that Dead Space: Extraction is not a game for kids. You don't just kill aliens; you can target their specific body parts and cut 'em off (or decapitate the alien). There's also some raw language, but it's not up to MadWorld or House of the Dead Overkill levels. Also, this game can scare the cr*p out of you at times. Overall, Dead Space Extraction is yet another solid shooter for the Wii, and it's okay for teens. But kids under 14 shouldn't be playing this game.
