What is your kid learning from online games?

Young teens love to play online games like Halo Wars, where they can play with friends and strangers. Online play is anonymous, making it tempting for kids to use language you wouldn't want at your dinner table. But kids can also learn great lessons about teamwork.

A good place to start: Talk to your kids about the positive aspects of online games. Remind them that teamwork makes winners -- kids this age love to triumph. And don't forget time limits!
