Jak 3 is the finale of the wonderful Jak and Daxter trilogy from Naughty Dog (pardon the name; it's not really reflective of their games). Like the second one, this is a very story-drive game, and contains a few good twists, though whether or not they are the best ever is up for debate. The big revalation of the series comes off a bit too comic for some, and some also claim it was too predictable. I didn't really agree with either, but it's their opinions. The game world's a lot bigger with the inclusion of Spargus City and the Wasteland (though Haven's been downsized, thankfully) and there's plenty do as there's always someone trying to kill you during your wanderings, whether it's the hostile natives or the warring factions in Haven. The game is a little too short and easy for my liking (though that may come from just beating Jak II), though is great fun and beautiful. A few ethical debunks, but it's a good alternative to GTA if your kid has been wanting to play that because of its popularity.
