I just can't describe all the great things about this game. Its fun, great animation, cool characters, cool villains, cool battle system, interesting plot, etc.
To me I think this is the best game ever to get for your PS2 the story is amasing the manga is truly amasing also and the KeyBlade makes a super cool sword like weapon. But there was almost endless fighting but bloodless even thou the box sayes theres blood in it. Some parents were afraid of letting there kids play KH2 and think that it should be T. But to me I dont think it should be T i mean this game is sopose to be for kids so ya it still is a fun game.
Kingdom Hearts II is excellent, but there are a few problems. The camera is annoying, excruciating consumerism, and there's a lot of button smashing. The story is excellent despite the consumerism. However I will warn that you do fight people in this game. The animation has to be some of the best I've seen on the PS2.
If you or your child are Disney or Final Fantasy fans you'll probably love this game like I do.
Could This Be The Best PS2 Game Ever? Or Could It Be Just Another Disney Game?
I think that the places of Disney characters in a action rpg is an amazing idea! Everything in this game was place out perfectly. The different environments you get to explore, boss battles and even the music were just perfect! The challenge is high in this game. It will take you 7-8 hours depending on your choice of level. Sora is a very good role model. He is not afraid to sacrifice himself to save his friends. He does use his keyblade in all fights but overall he is very brave. The game is easy to pick up and play but gets harder as you progress. You don't even have to worry about safety. The pirates in the pirates of the Caribbean level do drink alcohol and the challenge may be hard but if you look at the whole package it is amazing! Buy it now!
How do you describe a game like KINGDOM HEARTS 2? This is, by far, my favorite video game of all time. How stupid of me to not get KINGDOM HEARTS first before the second... I had so much reading to do :p. But when I was done, I realized just how monumental the story is. The combination of FINAL FANTASY and Disney characters gels like no one's business. I'm not spoiling anything, so I'll just give my impression. Gameplay mechanics are amazing- but there's A LOT of button mashing. Be ready for hitting triangle to do epic attacks and moves on giant monsters. All the aspects of FINAL FANTASY are thrown in there- towns, magic (same names), all that jazz. KINGDOM HEARTS 2 is very linear, however. Half the time you're running in a set path with a couple of branching ones... but not much freedom there. However, the cutscenes are really good, by far one of the best on the PS2. It's easily paced out, even for a long game. The Disney worlds make the game less dark and foreboding and give you a chance to relax, play lots of minigames, laugh a little, and along the way save characters from the Heartless and Nobodies, as well as bosses. BY FAR this is a must have on the PS2. (Quick note- KINGDOM HEARTS has an anime series, Disney characters -Disney being a mass franchise-, FINAL FANTASY characters - FINAL FANTASY being a mass franchise-, and lots of promotional offers and branching titles. Be ready to be in the series for a long time. There's the consumerism for ya!)
now you see kingdom hearts ishould be for 11 cause in the game u fight monsters like heartless or nobodies and some people if u are soposed to fight them but i tell u the game is not inappropriate for kids its just fun really so yeah 10 to11 is good andit should stay at E 10+
what are you talking 10 not age appropriate I play it and obsessed I think it is age appropriate or at least iffy Lots of tweens play this We have seen achohal every where too even in lego pirates so I recall there is no blood its just sparkles left behind and when marluxia attacks its red petals
One of the best games I have ever played! There is violence but no blood. Though in one scene when Hercules is fighting the Hydra green blood can be seen. Only for a few seconds though. If you have to decide for your child. Let him play it, good role models. No blood, or gore. Good clean fun.
This is AwEsOmE! and my 11 year old sister says its off the hook! I love disney and being able to play along side my favorite characters is super kool. The second one (which is this one) is much easier to play than the first one
This game is amazing, there is some product placement because some of the game's characters are final fantasy or disney characters, but this is a great game. There is violence, but you use a giant key to fight, there is no blood, sometimes enemies will give out little health bubbles. While some boss battles are a little scary, there's nothing too disturbing.
This is my favorite game. I am like, a huge nerd for this game (I have Kingdom Hearts T-shirts, plushies, posters, you name it). I'd say the best part of the game is the new enemies that you face. This is why KH2 is better than the first one.
Ok, Everybody's giving this game a bad rap. But, there's nothing too bad in it. Violence: Battles that are itense BUT not bloody, A girl's palm is cut, not her wrist, it's kingdom hearts, not "emo-time". Alcohol: pirates are drinking..for like three seconds. Sex: some tight outfits, Sora makes a slightly crude joke. Language: None atoll. Advertising: Final fantasy, disney, but are you gonna get mad because your kid's playing a game that has simba in it? I'm fourteen and I say anyone 10+ is old enough to play.
Love this game! It is awesome for Disney obsessed kids. Really fun game. Parents: If your child takes things literary, you might want to look at the game before you buy it. Other than that along with the drinking in Port Royal but you can't tell what it is (Looks like grape juice) You are goo.
Seriously the adults need to get a head on their shoulders and think through this. The game is based off of Disney Movies which I have seen the Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean has barely any blood. I'm Just Ticked that the parents say such crap about a game that is truly age appropriate. Think about it. Remember:Just because their is blood doesn't mean its horrific.
