Amazing game

The game itself is amazing and although it takes some getting used to, (The controls to the game are unique and every character has different abilities), the game encourages you to practice. You can play against A.I.s, and you can also go into a game mode where it is just you and you can practice your 'champion' (What the in-game characters are called) for as long as you want. Reading these reviews, I see so many bad things. They are not true. There is an in-game chat box where you can communicate with your team, and some people can get really frustrated at you and say unsavory things, you can 'mute' (Make it so you can't see their messages) everyone by typing, '/mute all', or if you only want to 'mute' one person, you can open up a menu by pressing the [tab] key or the [o] key and click on a button next to the person you are trying to 'mute' and then you will be unable to see their messages. Another issue I see people pointing out is that there are some images unsuitable for children, such as one female character in the game is over revealing, but this is only on the character splash-art because while in the game, your own character only takes up a small portion of your screen, and the splash-art will be shown for the same length of time it takes to get into a game, but you can hide the splash-art by clicking on it if you are uncomfortable by the image. The last bad thing I hear about this is that the game is very addicting, (which it is) and 'My KiD gOt mAD aT mE WhEN i ToLD ThEM TO LeaVE MiD-MaTCh aND tHEy WouLD'T PaUsE iT!'. The game is multiplayer, and there are penalties for disconnecting and abandoning your team while in a match. If you need your kid to do something, tell them before they start a game or wait until it is over. There is no to little violence, and the violence in the game is not very realistic and there is an option in the settings to make the game have less detail. The game is extremely fun and the majority of the playerbase is friendly, despite the few bad apples. The game never gets boring because the creators are always adding new updates, characters, and nerfs/buffs to balance the game and make it fun for everyone.

Addicting game with bad community

League of Legends is a 5V5 MOBA. The gameplay is some of the most addicting I have ever seen, and that's not necessarily a good thing. The game's "champions" (playable characters) each have unique move-sets and different difficulties. Some characters swear in their quotes but you can just turn the sound off, and some lines are suggestive but that's the same fix. A handful of characters are suggestively dressed but you can buy skins with in-game currency (that costs real-life currency) to fix that, or just not play the characters. The in-game violence is consistent but not the most realistic, and graphics can be turned down to make the violence even less realistic. The game contains an in-game chat system that was intended for strategy but the community uses it to flame people who mess up more often than not. You can turn off the chat to prevent your child from being harassed. I would recommend having your children play the phone version "League of Legends: Wild Rift" because it is more child friendly.

NOt addictive , but not recommended

This game is just plain boring, and it's NOT addictive, people will just uninstall the game after they've played something like one match.

Ability to mute Community

very good game, very fun too play! I see alot of comments about offensive and vulgure community but the ability to talk allies and enemies can be easily disabled in settings. Although this does take away from the experience because the main point of the game is to get better and work as a team! If your looking for a game with a great stories definitly take a look at the world and incredible lore in it!

No

Unbalanced meta, awful community, every predatory microtransaction imaginable, no good report systems in place. Why do kids give this game 4/5 Seriously, not even the people who play the game like it. Stay as far away from this game as you possibly can, Play DOTA 2.

If you want your kid to get depressed and have anger issues/suicidal thoughts

If you want your kid to get depressed and have anger issues/suicidal thoughts then you should let him/her play league. Me as someone who played this game for 10 consecutive years knows it the best. Whenever you don't play as good as others in your team want you they begin to throw racial slurs at you and will literally tell you to |{ys*(kill yourself). But overall its a good experience. A bit hard to learn to play it but after that its easy.

Difficult

The game itself contains no gore and minimal alchohol (one person carries a ceg of beer) and its an amazing game. The only reasons i think it should be 13+ is because of its difficulity and addictiveness. Its not like youll lose your social life and stay inside all day but its an amazing game built for hardcore gamers and takes up a lot of time because of that. And not all the characters are bloodthirsty murderers, even if there are some that are most of the characters are heroes or even normal people who many of them doesn't fight and have normal jobs and families(or at least some) in the lore. And i forgot to say but theres no blood and its not as violent as the main review says and its almost like the person writing the review played 1 game and lost and then didn't want to play anymore and then got a personal grudge against league of legends after loosing because 80 percent of what was written was either completely exaggerated or complete lies.
