Awesome
I've played this game and it's awesome there are some moments that are a bit freaky but not over the limit, overall it would be an awesome present to give.

"Hey little village.... 3 days!!! Just 3 days, and I'm comin' down there!"
I remember that I got this game in the mail on a Zelda: Collector's Edition disc when I renewed my Nintendo Power subscription in 3rd grade. My grandma died that night, and I just sat and played this game. It was a creepy world to be in, with the moon falling down, and time going so fast. Reminds me a bit of the time situation in Chrono Trigger. If your kid is sensitive or scared of the end of the world, don't let them play this.

Very enjoyable
Such an amazing game, it is obviously darker and way more complex than Ocarina of Time but the story is so rich and vibrant and there is so much to do. A great game with good themes and awesome temples

Darkest Zelda game
This game is not for kids! It is very dark for a Nintendo game, but has some positive ideals. (Play the game to the end to find out!)

Coraline's Twin
This is exactly like Coraline. A kids game that is way too scary for the aged kids it was intended for. The game is creepy, but a good game. It's my favorite Zelda game.

3 days... 72 hours... 4 troubled realms... a boy... one desteny...
OKThatWasAFailedTitle, But yeah. A really worthy sequel to the clasic: Ocarina of time, the so-called "Best game of all time". I recomed that you play it before you atempt to try this one: a lot of stuff returns from the prequel that are not explained in "Majora's mask". Example: In "Ocarina of time" you learn that you can shoot eye switches whith the bow, but in "Majora's" you never learn that, though you need to know it. I guess the game didn't contain that blue/green splat efect when killing enemies, so no violence mark added. Suggestive themes are in the game just like in "Ocarina", and it's a bit creepy: a cursed mask whit dark powers decide to destroy the land of Termina as a revenge for what the "Four guardians" did to him. A forest demon (Skull kid) who once was the "Four guardians" friend before getting thrown aside, discovers this mask and the mask possesses him(Ceepy), whith their forces they summon a demon's moon that draws closer and closer to the world. When the game begins there is three days left till the moon hits the central "Clock tower" and the world gets destroyed!!! (That moon has the CREEPIEST FACE I've EVER seen) And the worst is that all people(or most of them) don't worry about the moon and thinks it's a joke!!! The game made me Cry sooo many times, I played it at the age of 6, horrible end of the world, THE GAME RUNS ON TIME, and OOHH! But it is beautiful!!! Play it for the sake of your life, and for Termina.

Dark and Depressive, but a masterful game
Before you let kids play, make sure they don't get scared or upset by monsters, apocalyptic themes and deaths. Even if they have played Ocarina of Time you should be cautious. This follow-up is much more dark and mature. It's not necessarily more violent or graphic than your average Zelda game, but the tone and music is darker, the storyline much more horrific and the characters are all pretty powerless and feel that there is nothing they can do to stop the moon from crushing their precious town. Even the player may feel this, as Link is turned into a less powerful Deku Scrub at the beginning of the game. These themes become less of an issue as the game progresses and time travel helps you to make your way through the game. This does not do anything to bring down the quality of the game though. If anything it makes the game better, taking a completely different turn from Ocarina of Time, considered by myself, and many others, as the greatest game of all time. In my opinion, Majora's Mask doesn't quite live up to its predecessor, but it is still a masterpiece in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this game to kids who don't have a problem with these themes and even to adults if you're looking for a great classic to play.

Excellent game one of my favorites!
I think this game is absolutely fantastic i adore it greatly although not as much as ocarina of time. I love the dark twist they added to the series in this game excellent! Although not as good as its predecessor ocarina of time i still think it deserves to be played. So its available to play on the wii for 1 thousand wii points on the shop channel or you can get it for the gamecube and play it on that. So come on you zelda fans if you call yourselves fans then play this game! although it was made almost 10 years ago and the graphics arent great that dosent matter the story is what matters

THE GREATEST GAME EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my favorite game of all time and my parents like it to. The violence isn't that bad and neither are the sexual themes. I like how you have a small world but a large variety of side quests to do in this small world. Two thumbs way up!

Perfection.
It's perfect, beautiful game music, nothing to confuse Zelda fans as they play the different controls, no control changes. When I was little it scared me so much with its Dark mood and its quiet moments, like when you fail to defeat skull kid and the moon crashes onto the village. Navi pisses me off SO much sometimes lol, but she has very helpfull hints. Perfect, this may not be my official classic but its my 3rd classic. The first two Banjo Kazooie games being the first classic and Ocarina of Time being the second. Love the series and the gameplay. If only I were MUCH better at it. Lol.

Great game for some kids
This is a fantastic game belevie me.I love this game but it does have a few things not ment for younger kids.well at first when you begin the game its set on a timer for 3 days time.another thing is the moon above you it has red\orange percing eyes and a giant grin on its face that may disturb some kids.the great fairys dont wear much clothing, and back to the timer,if you spent your 3 days and you dont reset time by playing your ocarina the moon will come down on the world and crush every one and burning them although deaths are not shown.there is also a level were there are zombie like monsters called redeads and they scream at you and bite you.

Great Game
Majoras Mask is an amazing game. I knew it wouldn't be able to beat ocarina but is a very worthy sequel. Unfortunately if you don't do side quests you will have a very short experience with this game (but it still has high replay value). Also the huge moon may scare some people but overall its a fine addition to the series.

A Game That Truly Touches Hearts
This game is known as being part of the extremely popular Legend of Zelda series. It is however, a bit different from normal Zelda games, but in a good way. It is my personal favorite because besides its fun gameplay and great adventure aspect, it is one that truly touches my heart and makes me think. This game teaches children to feel and sympathize for other people, especially those who are undergoing hardships. Its themes are a bit dark involving a moon crashing into the town within 3 days (in which the player can revert back to the first day at anytime), but these themes play right into plot and effect on its players. Unlike most other Zelda games, this one has characters that are much more developed because they actually do their own thing for the 3 days, so players can come to understand these people like those in real life. It is sad in many parts because there are characters who die and feel anguished for failing in protected those they love, but the player can play one of the series' most revered songs, the Song of Healing, to heal their anguished soul and let their minds be at peace, knowing the player will fulfill their duty in their stead. This understanding of the characters in the game will encourage kids to try to be more understanding of people in real life. As for violence, it's minimal. Your character uses a sword to fight, but I don't remember any blood. If there is any blood, it's miniscule. There is no gore to worry about, but there can be somewhat scary moments to young children such as creatures like ReDeads, which are zombie like creatures. Aside from that, the reason I recommend this great game to children 10 and up is the more complex themes would go over the heads of young children since much of the game relies on being able to read. This game is truly a "must-have" and I highly recommend it.
