I'm still humming the songs!
This game is the real Zelda game. Wind Waker was for younger kids, Phantom Hourglass is on a weak platform, but this ine rules. My only prob was that the games puzzles and problems were so complex thatI needed help of an online walkthrough. You should really use one to get yuo through tough spots, because I spent 3 HOURS TOTAL on opening one stinkin' door!(Now that stinks) :) This game is definetly fro older kids becaus e of the increased violence. I don't like violence or slight blood. I cringe everytime. this gam also has a lot of cool AND frightening images. My budd ywho is 13 yrs. old was scared. Enjoy gamers, cause this game rulz!

Concerned Parents: Don't Panic!!
I am writing this review in response to the concerns of a parent of one of my students. I am a private music teacher and my students and their parents know that I am deeply involved in the videogame industry as an informed consumer, and value my opinions as such. I have played through Twilight Princess twice now, and would like to make my opinion known. After reading all of the reviews that have been posted on this site (primarily by adults and by CS.org), I would like to refute the statements made about the "bar" and "sexual content" issues. The bar that is made reference to by CS on their main page is merely a travelers pub, owned by a woman who is portrayed as a busty, loudmouthed jolly person with a strong personality. Her chest is a bit revealing, but in no way more revealing than the billboards that scatter the roadways and mainstream media. As for the "bar" she runs, the bottles that are strewn about, are not glass, but opaque bottles of any type liquid. If you are making a decision to let your child play this game, I would first, and only, look towards the depicted cartoon violence as the deciding factor. A sensible teen will view these "bar-like" factors for what they are, part of the artwork. To me, most games have a large artistic component, and should be interpreted in a way that takes its artistry into consideration. I hope this was helpful and I will post again soon! -Sir Atrus

4 years of work pays off
This is a great game and it has been developing since 2002. It seems to have paid off, too. I think this game should be E10+. The blood description is another stupid lie from the ESRB, but there is some scarier violence and it looks a bit stronger than the other Zelda games.

Awesome Adventure Game
I have played all the Zelda's since I was a kid, and I don't think there's a better version in the series. It's a lengthy game but there's a ton of fun things to do, puzzles to figure out, and a decent story line that keeps you interested. The Wii controller works great as well and adds an extra element of involvement. My 5 year old son is not old enough to play it but loved watching me progress through the fantasy world. We would talk through the puzzles and it was fun trying to problem solve throughout. There is some mild violence related to swordplay, but no gore. My wife wasn't too thrilled with my son seeing some of the sword battles, so understand the maturity of your child before letting them play or view the game.

It's OK
As a big Zelda fan, I was really excited when TP finally came out, after several delays. Truthfully, I was kind of let down--the way you are after waiting for something amazing to happen and it's only "ok," but it's still a fun game to play. If you have played other Zelda games, you'll probably like this one too. My kids have both beat it already (I haven't had time yet), and they really liked it. From what I've seen so far, it's a typical Zelda adventure.

Not my taste but can't deny it's a great game
It's alright, a good installment of the series. Only complaints are the annoying sounds that come out of the controller and that while the graphics are lovely for some reason they totally screw with my eyes. Can't say I ever got thoroughly invested in this game, but it's definitely fun. The rating board above is pretty accurate - nothing particularly questionable, though as it mentions some of the characters are 'naturally' covered to maintain the style.

Love it :D
I fail at this series so bad, but I love it. Great game, and a great way to pretty much announce that nintendo may be slowing production in the Zelda series. Haven't made many games, A lot of fillers like the Minish Cap and Spirit Tracks(coming soon) A pretty bad idea was putting it on DS, really hard to play. I used a walk through. Link is a great role model, Humble, Noble, and Caring.

Great game. a bit glitchy, but just don't save in the room with the broken cannon. Great graphics, and very little blood. but part way through the game there is a cutscene that might disturb younger players...

LOVED IT!!!
This was probably the best Zelda made!Original characters *cough Minda !cough*. No real violence, but not really appropriate for any one under ten.Really complex puzzles and tons of new characters made this game AWESOME!!!!!

Definitely Not Appropriate For All Ages, But Great
This game is fantastic and fun to play, but a warning must be made that parents must be aware of the violence and brief suggestive content in the game. Hair covers a woman's upper nudity and suggestive dialogue spoken a few times is the largest extent of sexual content. Violence isn't realistic, but it still is presented quite graphically. Zelda stabs, slashes, and at one point (I Believe) beheads a few characters with his swords, and many variations of weapons can be used to inflict violence upon characters. Some grotesque "black blood" emits from some of the more mythical and fantasized characters, but is not potentially scary. Overall, I think parents should watch for these things, but it's not insanely bad. Great graphics.

Great game, no realistic violence.
The "goriest" part of this game is when you attack enemies black "blood" comes out. It's not realistic. Appropriate for anyone 7+, but the puzzles are very hard at times so probably only people 12+ would have fun playing through the whole game.

Good game
This is a pretty decent entry in the Zelda series. Newcomers will either love it or hate it. Fans will find it a bit unoriginal, but still entertaining. As for content, there's not much to say. The game probably deserves an E10 rating rather than a T. Enemies are killed in swordfights less graphic than your average anime series aimed at this age group. They disappear in puffs of smoke. In one section, blood is shown on a fence. This is never actually stated to be blood, and could possibly be red paint. The "Great Fairies" appear briefly and are fully nude, with their breasts and groins obscured by crossed legs and very long hair.

Zelda's Best Game since Wind Waker
The only thing wrong with this game is that Link is the main character, not Zelda, other than that, AWESOME

It is a very fun game to play if you don't have a friend to play with. I think some parts of it are very chalenging for beginers.

The game you'll wish could go on forever
First off, I'll start by saying this; Twilight Princess is the best Zelda game ever. A rich story line and beautiful graphics combined with memorable and humorous characters literally pulled me into the land of Hyrule. I enjoyed every moment of the game (which I am currently replaying because I love it so much!!) If there is one game I would recommend, it would be the epic, the beautiful, the spectacular Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess.
- I rate this title on for age 10 and give it
Twilight princess is adventurous, while not repetitive.
It DID take me about 60-something hours to finish the game. My sibling was always roaming around Hyrule and finding secret passages in my game. (That took about 10 hours.) I didn't want to stop, and wanted to slap my parents when they said I had to turn it off. A very good game, although the boss-battles weren't creative. Hit the eye, the jewel, the noticeable and vulnerable point. Very good game.
