Fun
You do face a lot enemies at ounce, but it's not really that violent. When the enemies die, they don't die like normal NPCs. Instead, they just go into immediate rag doll effect,. The orks do scream loudly though. But they don't gag, they don't grab there throat or chest. They just drop. The is no language or sexual content. Only violence. There isn't even blood.

Good, but only for teens
I have three concerns with Lord of the Rings: Conquest. The first is violence: this game is about war and battles, but it doesn't really glorify violence and their is no blood. The second is that you can play as an evil character. I just don't think it's right to be evil even in a video game. That is the negative message. Thirdly it's Lord of the Rings, it contains some magic and such. If you approve of the movies I would approve the game, because the violence is greatly toned down from the gory movies. All in all, its a fun game to play with two player co-op, different classes of units, and occosional opportunities to play as the heroes from the books/movies (Aragorn, Gimli, Gandalf etc.) I would let a 13 year old play it, but nobody younger than that.

Not Violent,And Good Role Models
LOTR Conquest,A Third Person Shooter,That Basically Copies Gears Of War.The TPS(Third Person Shooter),Has Many Fun Varieties To Play,But I Suggest If You Play It,To Make It More Fun Do Co-op Mode. This Game Is Not Violent,But Does Have Many Ways To Kill Your Opponent. This Action TPS Is Preferred For Teens 13 And Up.

Good for tweens
Violent, semi-fun game. THe violence is fantasy and the game overall feels flat. With no real storyline or real protagonist. Feels more like a downloadable game than a full retail. If anything it has a good multiplayer, but the online is gone. At least Star Wars: Battlefront had a narrative...

Great game but...
This is a pretty violent game and I think it could use some parts when you're not fighting. I play this at my friends house all the time and I don't see anything wrong with the game it's fun it teaches you about the books and movies and it has really good graphics!

It's beast and really not that violent. It's kind of like a mideval Star Wars Battlefront 2, or at least that's what I think.

Great game
Love it. No blood no swearing its a go

I think this game is perfectly suitable for any kid 11 or older the violence isnt very bad as its made up to be it is just battling with a sword and shield since their is no blood or gore this game is suitable for anyone who has seen the movies and can handle them.

Very easy game. I say it is good for 13 and up, but it is appropiate for 11 and up, but only 13 year olds willl like it. The story for both Good and Evil is short, and it is missing many battlefields like Rohan, and others. I was dissapointed with this game, but it was kind of fun while it lasted.

Tweens and up
My son play's this game very often, and sometimes I watch him to make sure there's nothing bad. It's very violent, yes, but there is no blood or gore. The game has some good and bad role models, the evil being bad and the good being good. All in all, I would say tweens and up can play it, but that's my opinion.

9+ okay
it is ok for 9 & up.there are sparks instead of blood. so i think that for anyone who has seen the movie and is 9+ will be okay beacause if youve seen the movie you know what to expect right? (except the evil campain)

A failed attempt to make a good game
It's a fine game, but it glorifies violence, it gets very old after a while

good for lord of the rings fans.
while fun, violence is expressed openly.
