For a puzzle game, most kids would actually like this. It's Tetris-esque, but original in it's own way. It has no violence, sex, alcohol whatsoever, yet it's still addicting. Games like this prove that violence doesn't always sell games.
Great game, but may not be of interest to younger kids
I have the PS2 version of Lumines. It is simply a puzzler where you arrange falling blocks of 2 colors to make 2X2 squares of the same color to score points. Sounds boring, but is pretty addicting once you start. I reccomend this to many people, however may be too much for children under 10 to play, despite the E rating.
