This game is definitely not for children, but if you're 17 or older this game is SICK.

I once tried playing this as an experiment but I never even made it past the first guy your supposed to kill. Ideally whoever made this designed it to be all about Kill, Murder, Kill, Assasinate, Kill, Get Rid Of, and....oh, did i mention Kill. To make my point even more proven the first time you start the game the game advises you to "Close the curtains, shut off the lights, lock the door, and get ready to Kill!" It even goes as far as checking your screen and telling you to adjust the darkness to make the game as gory and suspensful as can be. Not only do you kill, but people dont realize that WHO you kill. I've heard from other friends of mine who have played it, as well as did a little reasearch, that not only do you kill gang-members and thugs, but also going as far as killing mental patients at an asylum. Imagine the fear that could be struck into the minds of any kid playing this! The screams of your crazed victims is enough to want to make you check into your own asylum. Not to mention the character does not hesitate to be 'creative' in his killing. This game is only for those with steel hearts...literally. Show a 40-year old man and he can easily get a heart attack from the gore of this game

God,csm what are you thinking to give this game one star?its awesome!!!!!!!you start off with this inmate and you have to execute other people to stop yourself from being killed too.all this is being watched by lionel starkweather,who will reward you for making the killings more gruesome.and this isnt even half as violent as faces of death which i see a few times a week.its ok if you can handle violent killing games without becoming agressive.i know cos i play it over and over again and its pretty d*mn awesome.the chainsaw kills are awesome!!!!

This game is not for the squemish

Well i think personally, this is a fun game. Not something i would have expected from rockstar but a good game none the less. However i do agree that a child under 15, 16ish should not be exposed to the content in this game. The fact that you can cut your enemy to pieces with a hacksaw is unbearable to most, but in my eyes, gore and violence is in with the times and a child by the age of of 15 or 16 is fine with playing this game because he/she understands fully that this game is not intended to make you want to hack and slash your neighbors or such. I truley believe that once you are of this age you have already learned about all the effects of everything in this game and (hopefully) understand that it is not acceptible to recreate. I still throughly caution parents and/or other buyers that this game is a full on gorefest and should not be taken lightly

i think this game is cool and commonscense is exagerating. this game is about a person who was arrested and rcued so he can kill people for entertainment but he had no choice. he was being attacked and he only killed to get out of the city and to be free. i can see how some parents could see this as inapropriat but its not that bad. its no worse than james bond or any other harmless game that has alot of violense. but i like games with violece and i know that most kids would enjoy this game and not grow up to be cirial killers. this game it asome and i think you should know youre child and how mature they are and let that help you decide.
