The game play maybe a little too hard for the younger kids. It involves a lot of wrist movement and hand-eye coordination.
I would highly recommend this for any sonic/mario fan or just someone who loves the Olympics.
We have all had fun playing this and the kids don't seem to tire of it. The kids are able to easily unlock new games. No product placement, other than all of the characters, but I don't care for the commercialism message in earning points and then spending them at the town stores.
We bought this game a couple of months ago to get my girls (ages 6 and 9) geared up for the Olympics. They both love the game, the characters, and learning about the various sports. The game is easy to pick up and start playing with little or no learning curve and the graphics are top notch. I highly recommend it.
