Kid reviews for Pirate101

So if you have a young kid that wants to try this game give them restricted chat because in the main lobby there is a lot of toxicity, and menu chat is just a bad idea since its a strategy game, there is also a lot you have to pay for in the game despite being "free to play" membership is probably the best way to go on that front since kids that like the game will speed through the game. Also yes there is guns and swords in this game however there is no blood or anything graphically harmful to kids and the game just isn't harmful on that front. However do not let your kids see the pvp scene because those people are a horrible influence

I love this game and think the only problem is the few which you can just ask for for Christmas anyway.

This is a really great game for kids. I have been playing it for 3 years and have a lot of fun with it to this day. The only thing wrong with it is the paywalls. A few hours into the main storyline, you will have to either buy a membership or purchase Crowns to continue. This won't stop you from playing, however, as there are a few side quests and a PVP dueling arena. You can also spend time sailing your ship and defeating enemy ships. The game has no swearing or sex whatsoever, and you have to be 13 to use the free chat. Very little safety concern since free chat censors bad stuff and addresses. I highly recommend this game to anyone of any age.

The reviews on this game the adults gave are complete garbage. The kids section gives much better reviews (subjective, but I've seen 18+ given for an age. This is not true. There is even a bit of racism. Some are acceptable, but if you want a better review for this game, kids would be better.) Getting on to the point, I loved this game a lot. I found out about this game in 2015, after playing Wizard101 for a year. I forgot how I found it, but whatever made me join, they lead me into about 2 years of complete JOY. Pirate101 unfortunately, is Wizard101's underrated younger sister. Most people who play Pirate101 come from Wizard101, which is why much less people play. Battle system is a lot UNLIKE wizard101's, and many people aren't really used to those pirate-esque themes. The biggest turn off for people (as I asked some why they did not like this game) was primarily because OF the battle system, the companion mangement (update a few years ago implemented up to an 8 hours rest on companions if they die during a battle. I am a large fan of P101, but this is completely annoying.), and lastly because of having to restart from scratch. You're used to having your high level wizards and experience and knowledge about the game. However, just joining Pirate101, you know nothing which (for some reason..) tends to be a turnoff. To me, the battle system isn't even that confusing. It's like chess. Except you have a range of attacks you can use on the enemies. Or buffs to increase your sides chances of winning/durability in battle. No, did I almost forget to mention? You are not alone, unlike Wizard101 whereas if you solo, it's just you aganist up to 4 mobs at once. In pirate101, you've got a whole army, and you're the captain! I love both games equally though! As I have about 3 pirates over 100 on wizard101, and all 5 classes on Pirate101 up to the cap level. The only downside to this game is, there is a lot of copy and paste from Wizard101. It is also much ignored by Kingsisle themselves. There are year gaps in major updates. Wizard101 updates majorly at least once a year. For pirate101, it is never guaranteed like it is for Wizard101. I still had a fun time despite this, and I WILL go back when there is a new world to play.

Well, I personally love this game. Whilst the animation/Character models aren't anything spectacular, it's a very easy game to play. It's fairly simple, but there are a few aspects that I would be incredibly confused about if I was not the nerd I am. The violence isn't graphic, but of course if you are concerned for your child, do steer them away from this one, because there are guns, knives and killing. The killing is associated with a sound effect, but nothing traumatizing or permanently haunting. Pirate101 isn't really accompanied with good messages sadly. There are quite a lot of teens (and rude kids) playing this game who cheat the chat filters to swear and say inappropriate things. A lot of these players also online date and bully. However, I still love Pirate101 and I think it's a good game, I'd like it more if it weren't for the few rude people who do ruin the community.

Recently I have found some things about Pirate101. I have Norton and it said Pirate101 IS NOT SAFE and should be deleted. I dont know if someone was hacking my account then or something. I think it probably might be safe. Back then I was kind of a curious person and I went to a site cp codes. When I went on the site Norton later gave me a warning when I went on this one page, I forgot which one it was. I am pretty sure it linked onto my account and made trojan horses. It may be safe because before it wasnt so bad. I would recommend NOT to join other peoples group unless you trust them. When your in a group hackers can hack you more easily even if your their friend or on the ignore list. I dont know if this is safe or not. Before I went on the website it didnt say Pirate101 is a virus. Make sure you DO NOT download cheat engines, hack downloads or any of that even if its on a website. If you ever go on one of those things that have a trojan horse it will link to accounts and spyware will be added. It can also mess up your account even if you deleted it it may still be on there. When I went on Pirate101 I think it was less safe then Wizard101. I think Wizard101 has more protection to it. I think someone did hack into my account from Pirate101 or the trojan horse because when I did the master password I always put in it didnt work. I emailed it back to the regular email and it wasnt there. When I used the credit card information it was invalid. Do not EVER go onto any unknown websites you think is a virus. I also wouldnt really go on websites with too much ads because sometimes they can be viruses when you click on it and can attack your computer. So if you have Norton see what thing is running and if any unknown files are going when you downloaded it uninstall it immediately. I hope this helped you.

Weirdly people have said that there is blood and this game is not for people under 18+ but this is NOT TRUE. People are just lying on adults accounts to annoy people like me and ruin the whole of the site. Honestly though it is a kid friendly game (look on the website if you don't believe me) and it is really cool. It says on the website that it is perfectly fine for people 10 and up. There is NO language at all as you can not even type but there is an in-game typing system to do it for you. There is NO SEX AT ALL I PROMISE YOU THAT! Take my review for granted and don't Listen to the fake 18+ kids who are faking just for a laugh, Take my review, it is a cool game and let your child play this. Just get away from unknown people and DO NOT join any max group, thanks. It also gets boring sometimes so its ok. There may be drinking and bad language sometimes

There is too much online dating swearing and lots of that. You can get banned or muted easily so please have menu chat. Please trust me I was friends with inappropriate people which is obviously the max friends with the empire clan and all that so please dont get text chat.
