this game is pretty gory but its overall amazing the graphics are amazing great game a++

The first action shooter for Ps3 is out of the gates and running. Despite the mild violence, there are many redeming qualities. The action sequences are huge and explosive. With weapons that can shoot t.v. guided rockets, to frags that are napalm in a can, its all good fun. One good quality is the learning. The AI are extremely advanced, the second or third best I've ever seen. This challenges kids to be a effective and skilled killer. Instead of mundain shoot,duck,frag,and shoot combat, there are strategies that come into play. To survive, players must use effective cover(because lighter cover is distructable) and learn to flank. Teamwork is also important. With more men, you can survive longer. There are certain secenes in which a teammate may be about to be eaten alive by smaller,numerous enemies. If you save him, you have a better chance to survive. There are also many great social and moral themes, like togetherness. The world is bieng taken over and all humans left have taken up arms in defense of the race. If the world was under siege, I know I'd want my kids to know how to be a hero.

This game is great. The WW2 visuals combined with the futuristic wepons and ships creates an amazing mixture. I also like the fact that this game has non-stop action where you can run and gun. The feeling of seeing a big alien being destroyed and explode is great altho violent. Parents should be aware that this game is gory and violent altho not to the extreams. The worst the violence gets in this game is when a creature will explode in chunks of meat (this is somewhat hidden in an exploding flash of fire). The language only gets as bad as "Son of a B**ch" but " D**n, hell, and goddamn" are used somewhat frequently. A great game highly reccomend.

C'mon people! What are you men or mice! This is a great game and really fun. My son loved it so much that we played it twice. We love killing each other and playing side by side.

This game is amazing. It has a very original spin on a now tiring plot (Alien Invasion), phenomenal graphics, a wide variety of enemies, and visceral combat. But for some of you that last one may be a reason to have your kids shy away from this one. There is plenty of blood (Not really gore though, as the ESRB rating would suggest. They always tend for overrate things in my opinion.) and enemies heads explode when using the sniper rifle. In all honesty though, its not quite as bad as it sounds. In no way shape or form is it as bloody or brutal as something along the lines of Hostel or Saw. Violence aside, language may also be an issue for you. While there is no use of f---k, the language that is there is repeated frequently. All in all, this is a must own for the PS3.
