WAYOVER THE TOP
THIS GAME DEMOSTRATES "HOW MANY WAYS CAN WE KILL A PERSON". NOT JUST THE EVERYDAY JOE BUT GANG MEMBERS PASSERBYS, INNOCENT PEOPLE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET. IT'S ALL ABOUT TEACHING GANG BANGING 101. IF THATS NOT ENOUGH THE GAME ALSO DEMOS HOW TO COMMIT INSURANCE FRAUD. I CAN'T SEE HOW THIS GAME CAN BE SOLD TO A 17 YEAR OLD. SEX VIOLENCE KILLING 100WAYS THE LIST GOES ON. I NOTICE IT IS COMPARE TO GTA. NICE TRY, THIS GAME IS WAY OVER THE TOP GTA HAS SOME OF THE FEATURES BUT SAINTS ROW IS JUST PURE GANG BANGING 3RD DEGREE...NICE GRAPHICS, NICE MOVEMENT ASHAME IT WAS NOT POLISHED BEFORE RELEASING. PARENTS BETTER TAKE A LOOK AT THE CONSTANT FOUR LETTER WORDS AND WATCH YOUR KID LEARN INSURANCE FRAUD AS HE STARTS WEARING HIS COLORS.

Fun game
I think games that are rated 17+ are a little too strict. By the time you are my age you should know that it is a game and not real life and you will get in trouble if you do what they do. And sexual content, it shouldn't be an enormous issue. Maybe for kids that are 13 and under it may be an issue but it's not like you see people having sex all the time in the game.

STICK RPG REVIEW
Violence: Players get into a bar fight. When they win the other guy dies and his skull breaks open and blood comes out. Players can rob stores with pistols. Language: When you go up to the dug dealer he will say s--t. Store owners use mild curses like hell and sucka. Drugs: You can buy and sell cocaine around the city. You get drunk at bars. You can smoke or give it to a teen. Rated M for Use of Drugs and Alcohol, Violence, Blood and Gore, Language and Gambling.

Saints Row
One of my son and I's personal favorite games are the Saints Row series. We were into GTA before we found this, but after playing it we decided GTA had nothing on SR. Better graphics, cooler weapons, and more action IMO of course. I would recommend this game for action and violence lovers like myself.

Wait just a second
When my son asked me for this game i said No... but then he kept asking an i finally said, ok lets rent it. We got the game home and i played it (really jsut pushed buttons) and yes, there is shooting, and there is SOME language (couple F's and S's) and there is some smoking of tobacco. Other than that, no other problems with this game. I think anyone who has played The Godfather or any of the Grand Theft Auto games should get this. PARENTS IT ISNT THAT BAD!!!!

not all that bad
for parents out there, such as myself, id just like to announce this game isnt all that bad. i watched my 14 year old play it for hours, and played some of it myself as well. the game contains a few four letter words, and the occasional n word (usually just gangster talk, and not insulting someone else). there is minor drug content and even prostitutes on the street (dont worry, you cant get them in your car or anything, just there for decoration)the only real problem is violence. id say for teens 14+ its ok. as long as your kid has a grip on whats real and what isnt, then its not all that bad to buy. unless your child has access to illegal drugs, prostitutes, big guns, and is in a hardcore gang, then i almost feel like saying this is a must have...but its your choice i guess

A fun game for the mature gamer
I must say, I really enjoy this game. Most teenage boys will. The chance to do what you want whenever you want in an open world and to take it over as you see fit is particularly appealing. However, parents will most likely be alarmed by it. The game features pervasive language and illegal activities. While a teenager who has been exposed to things like this in the GTA games, I cannot advise parents to pick up a copy of this for your teenager, younger or older, mainly because you probably don't want to acknowledge how desensatized to this stuff we really are.
