Its a very good game. Its easy to use and it teaches players about the outside world, but still manages to be fun + you can have pets.

I'm 14 and I finally got the sims; as I had wanted it since I was 12. I think some of the material is a little risque; but nothing serious. I think it would not be the best game for 10 or under; but honestly it's up to parents as everyone has their own ideas of what acceptable and what's not. my friends and I love the game and play it a lot, and the 'questionable' content is very easy to avoid.

One of the greatest.
Hello again, I am now going to review a Sims game, which is typical of me, BUT, I do swear this is positively the second best Sims game I've played, second only to Sims Bustin' Out. The range of pets you can choose or even create yourself is just vast. If you look up vast in the dictionary it'll say "Sims 2 pets animal selection screen". Its not only that but the whole idea of giving sims pets that you can create and personalize is just brilliant! But if i do have a criticism, which of course i do, is that the creators of this masterpiece have made the game revolve completely around the pets. Not around the sims, not around their clothes or their lives, but their pets. Other than that it is just great. Its not just Sims 2 with a couple of dogs, they've fixed some things as well. The whole game is like a free play, and I never really minded this in sims 2 but the socialization thing has gone, which I think makes the game more like the rest of the sims games and not really like sims 2. This game I think is the bench mark, the king of all pet related games, if any other animal based game wants to have a go at this game, they're welcome, because sims 2 pets, will beat them off the video game selves.

well..my reiview.sex:iffy if your child can handle seeing movement in a bed.Violence:sims can die like they said but no blood at all.if your child can handle there favorite sims dieing its okay.language:no way theres language i mean its in a diffrent language.the rest of the stuff is okay. edicational value:good stuff. it teaches your kid real life,take care of things and jobs and chores. i think this game could be rated E10

It's Fun
It's a good way to learn how to teach pets new tricks. I think sims 2 Pets it's a good game to teach you about learning how to feed pets. It teaches you how to have a good lifetime and don't buy a car.

the sims uses crude humor and mild sexual themes such as if you use the toilet it will blur out the private areas or if you use a bed with your room-mate or wife you'll here noises such as 'yeah' or 'woo' and you have the choice of smoking and drinking and it also includes small amounts of language I would suggest it to older teens like 14-16

No, it isn't the best Sims 2 expansion pack, but still! I'd like to see an 8 year old code a video game. If you like sims 2, I reccomend you buying this pack. If not for the pets, but for the space theme for kids! :D

Simulation is so fun!
If you buy this for a system it's hard to play w/o cheat codes....well for me and my brother it is. It's good because you learn how to take care of your self. There are "things" that r disturbing, but those things can be skipped.This is an over GREAT game I just love playing with the pets it's just soooo fun! xD Piece of advice- if you dont want "those things" to come up then get 1 person and a bunch of cats/dogs. have fun playing this!!

Great game
I really love this game and all of the sims games( I own all but about 3) but without cheat codes it can be very hard and if you didn't own the first sims games it can be confusing to learn. It also gets boring faily quickly. Some people will be able to entertain themselves forever, but I myself have a desperately short attention span and not enough patience of imagination to complete any goals or lives at all. I woukd say though, that, for the price, it's definitely a good buy and worth its value.

Good at first, gets boring after awhile
Yeah. It's good for a few months, but eventually you get bored of it. It's not graphic or violent either. Sims can fight but it's not at all gory. Sims talk in their own language so that's not an issue, and the "try for baby" isn't really graphic. I started playing at 11.

It was quite fun except for a little bit of violence
I liked the game alot!!!! My daughter liked it alot. I think it should be for kids 14 and over. That's what i think.
