great awesome arcade game.... but has inappropriate content such as partial nudity, lots of violence, and mild language. The biggest concern is nudy and sexual content. basically half of the playable women are half nude, or wearing skimpy outfits. there is one character that barely wears anything.... which is WAY inappropriate for kids or even teens...
It really is a good game. There is no blood even though you use swords and stuff. The only downside is the skimpy outfits, I mean is that really necessary?
Good game...but parents may worry about some content.
The only real concern about this game is that the female characters can be in skimpy clothing. And fanboys may be tempted to remove all their equipment (including clothing) in the Character Creator. Thankfully, there's swimsuits which cannot be removed. However, if parents don't want their child exposed to girls in swimsuits (except if their child is a girl), don't buy this game and wait until you feel this game is appropriate. But by then, it won't be made anymore, so just buy it now, and play it with your child until he's mature enough to play alone. Violence is moderate, but no blood or gore. Language is mild, but because some online players may have a PSEye (the PS3 webcam), kids may hear some strong language. Overall, it's good for everyone, but play it with the really younger kids until they're mature.
Character creation is fun! My favorite character is basically a custom guy in the style of astaroth! Those who do not like fighting games should still play soulcalibur IV!
Overall appropiate, except for the skimpy clothing on women characters. If it werent for partial nudity and sexual content, this game would be rated E10+. Skimpy clothing on women charactrers shouldnt be too bad for 13 and up, and if you are not one of those phsycho super protective parents, you should allow your 13 and 14 year olds to stare at Ivy's boobs and buttocks and edit her clothing to show more. Come on, their animated! But their still attractive.........
