Our whole family enjoys this game. I wouldn't mind fewer steps to get to the point, while the reading parts are great to encourage kids to read-it gets tedious when the characters have cycled through a few times. Nintendo also needs to give players the option to be either sex and shop for clothes for either sex. Our son likes the game, but doesn't want his character to be a girl.
Great for tweens and teens who love being creative with their clothes
I was given this game for Christmas a few years ago, and I'm still playing it! It taught me a little about the retail side of fashion and how to manage a budget. It also allowed me to explore many different fashion styles. It taught me that fashion isn't about fitting in, but about expressing yourself through your own creative style; whether it's girly, sporty, punk, or whatever, is your choice.
The characters in the game constantly say how important it is to be yourself and love what you wear. I like how if the customers don't like a style, instead of saying "that looks ugly" or something like that, they say "Oh, that's nice, but it's just not me".
The only thing I didn't like about the game was that you don't have the option of being a boy character, so boy players have to be girls in the game. :/
Overall, it's a wonderful game that I will enjoy for years to come (it never ends).
