This is one of the first games I got when I purchased my xbox, and it has been very fun. The campaign mode is very intense and requires tactical thinking as well as teamwork with your ghost squad. I played through it 3 times on each difficulty and never got bored. The multiplayer, however, is not as great as the campaign. If you are looking for something similar to C.O.D and Halo multiplayer, it is not there. There is some minor language, but not to serious. Overall, a good game for younger gamers who want a shooting game.
This is the game that has changed gaming as i knew it. It makes you feel like you are a true solider, the take cover system is excellent, the gun selection is very update. This game i bought when i heard about it i still have it and still play it, you do lose the cover system in multiplayer but stil great graphics, this game is for everyone, but the controls take a little while to learn just go through the tutorial and you will be good. The reason i mark as educatonal is it gives you the true felling of a soilder and what they have to do, because it isn't just a bunch of running and shooting, GO GHOST RECON!!!!!
Its a great game that stresses the use of tactics to win u cant go all call of duty style and run and gun the whole game and it shows the courge of U.S and allie troops. It is great and even if your kid is under 11 its a good game and you would just need to talk to them about it
parents, you fuss about video games two much..... oooh ya. Great game!
this game is great. you get tons of guns but the controlls are abit iffy. i like how you can modify your gun in battle, but that slows down the game abit. i dont think parents should wory about ANY video game. it doesent fry your face, and its reely fun! video games are part of a childhood career. quit fussing about it and let your kids have some fun.
The campaign mode is very fun to play. You can chose between a couple of guns in the beginning, but as you move on in the story line, you can get access to more guns. Once in Xbox Live, you may be confused to find that some of the controls are a little different, but not extremely. You have access to more guns and explosives in Xbox Live mode, making it even more fun to play. The only down side is some players on live may use words that are inappropriate. But if this happens, you can easily "mute" the player so you cant hear them anymore.
i played it at my friends house and it was really fun, but it has issues. first, violence. its an FPS so theres gonna be some violence and the first person view dosent help it, but i could name like ten other T rated shooters that are more violent. second, blood. i wouldnt say its barley visible, more like visible but brief. third, language. i heard one bad word when my friend was playing campaign (he double hockey sticks)
This is a pretty good third-person shooter. I got it a few days ago and when started playing it, noticed there was no blood when approaching dead bodies. Not a lot of violence mainly because there is no close combat, only far off shooting battles. There is some noticeable profanity like h*ll and d*mn, the worst is son of a b*tch. This game should more be rated E10+, not really bad at all.
e.g. Awesome for 13+ depends on what games you let your kids play.
This is an awesome game....I simply love it....I did hear the B word in it once and some other minor cus words........but its not gory....it does have some blood....hardly notaceable.....you can even turn off the blood......its a very clean game other then some language.
This is an OK 3rd person shooter, if you shoot your team mates blood will come out there is bad language like s***,bit**,dam*,hell and bast***. For me it is hard to tell if you are good or bad and multiplayer was awful for me so if you are getting this game don't have your hopes up
good game that might be too violent for little kids
great game. sure, its got violence, but tweens could handle it. the language isnt as bad as commonsense says, the worst words i heard were "you english demon"
ghost recon advanced warfighter is very good i recomend it
This game is one of the best.this is a best buy in a 12/13 year old's view but it has got a couple of problems. First: there is violence obviously becaus it is a 3rd or 1st person shooter so it will be violent. the blood is not really there and i think you can turn it off if you want(be warned turning off blood will make game half a star worse so if you don't have to then don't)
2nd: Launguage there is no real bad language the only bit i know of is when a member of the squad is lost or you didn't complete the objective then your'e person says some words like d*a*m*n things. also sometimes he says Oh Hell but that is no biggie.
And 3rd: the cpu is at the super human level. this doesn't mean that they will turn round and shoot you if you are creeping up to them like some games i hate! but it means they are like other people online and are good shots and know what to do!
( also people online type rude words but what are you going to do about them? maybe you can mute them) All in all this is the best game evar in my opinion and alot of my friends!
Absolutely Amazing :D. Ill Give the Educational rating, For Being able to move your teammates around, and make positions, like your commanding and army ;D.Anyway, Pretty violent, But it sticks to the basics as a 3rd person shooter,So seriously parents,at least their not asking you to buy Black Ops. Their is pretty bad language such as B-s--d, Or D-mn, And S--t.But not Bad :D
i love it! it has to be the best FPS ever! it does has lots of violence, though. you use lots of weapons to destroy your enemy, but no blood comes out. the only thing close to blood or gore is dead bodies laying on the ground, but they disentegrate. there might be language, but i havent heard any yet. if you are not sure, i think you can get it on demo.
This game is perfect for kids 10 and up. You may turn off the blood in the game. Commanding the squad in-game is a great way to learn team work. Although commanding the squad could be hard for kids under 7.
