near the end there is an old WWII german outpost where there is almost no lights and weird almost mud men ( left 4 dead 2 ) like things and they scared me big time first time i saw them.
Woah, that was the best game I have played in.. ever, maybe?
Has your child seen Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark or any of the other movies? This compares to them, but I choose to compare it to Ark because the end is kind of creepy...
As for good role models, you won't find many in this game.
There are some educational elements to the game, such as the puzzles that you have to solve in the first level. There is violence, and a good bit of it, but the violence is quite unrealistic and there is only a bit of blood splatter. Corpses do stay where they are, and don't disapear magically though.
There are some sexual referances, but your child wouldn't understand them unless they've seen worse...
There is a good bit of minor language in the game, but it fits into the situation the characters are in.
One character smokes a cigar, but mentions that the main protagonist has been hassling him about it..
boring prequel to uncharted 2. if a movie: Rated R for bloody adventure violence, language, disturbing images, frightening scenes, and smoking/alcohol use
Fun for teens and up, but fairly violent and intense
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is a extraordinarily fun video game for PS3 that most teens who love adventure games and action (who doesn't, these days, especially teens) and can handle a few tough puzzles in between all of the action. But, this game is not for young tween's and children, because of the violence and profanity, which is actually surprisingly strong for a Teen Rated game: So, whenever someone is shot or injured, which happens constantly in this game, blood sprays from the wounds from which you shot someone, which is a little brutal. Also, the profanity includes but is not limited to many uses of sh-t, hell, crap, a--hole and g-dd-mnit, which happens throughout the action scenes and video segments of the game. Still, teens will love it and even adults will probably get a kick out of it as well. Reccomended for gamer's.
Great game (note this review has a spolier section so dont look if u dont want it spolied
I loved this game but it got a bit repetative (the scenary but it did look great). You kill alot of people by shooting, beating and "gernading" but there isnt much blood. SPOLIER there are zombies in the last couple of levels which arent that bad just to say but when a guy gets turned into one it ooks like he has no eyes. SPOLIERS ENDED the language isnt that bad either, s**t ba****d and son of a b"""h. Great game get it now im getting uncharted 2 now. :)
it was pretty good, but my dad made me turn it off after watching me play it for a few minutes. he took it away, hid it and said i could have it back when i was 12 or 13. but i understand why dad dosent like it-its bloody, has lots of bad words and if you havent noticed it is violent.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is easily one best games I have ever played! There is violence through out the game but it's not gory, but blood does appear when you shoot a person. One character seems to always have a cigar hanging out of his mouth and there are about half a dozen mildly suggestive comments made during the game as well as the use of language such as s***, a**, h***, d***, g**d*** and both b-words. You also see a few decomposing bodies in videos. Overall a great game for older teens.
I love this game it is amazing! This game is really fun, but kids under 12 probably shouldn't play it unless they are mature and don't get scared. The reason I say this is because it can get a little scary at times, and it is pretty bloody. There is quite a bit of cussing, but no F-words, and kids in fourth grade and up will hear worse language than what's in this game.
I am 12 year old girl and this game is okay for my age and personality. This is a better choice than call of duty since it is third person. Your never really close enough to see the blood. There is swearing but it's just b---h and c--p. I've heard worse at school than in this game. I'd recommend this game as a first T rated game. Come on smoking references aren't that bad!
This game is not bad at all. The sexual themes are very short. The violence is mostly in self- defense. Just explain to your child that it's just a video game. Overall I'd purchase this game for a very mature 10 year old. Hoped this review helped.
Uncharted is a good game i'm 9 and I play it,it's a fun adventure it's a lot like Indiana jones ecsept for you go around shooting people there's BLOOD in it they curse when they get mad at least 13 and 14s should play this it's rated T because it has BLOOD in it there's mild language there's mild suggestive themes there's use of Tobacco and violence if you can play it get it for a PS3. You can kind of tell it's violent because the people that made it are called NAUGHTY DOG must at least be over 8 to play this more of a teen game not relly for kids.
