Amazing Game

It is a great game with great stories and graphics. It is a walking simulator with the premise that the main character-Edith Finch-is exploring the house that her family lived in. She is the only one left alive though, so she explores the story of the death of each member in the family. I think that the biggest problem with this game is the eeriness, but it is not violent, and not inappropriate. 4/5.

Intense Emotion, Beautiful Story

I was very lucky to have found this game on Gamepass for Xbox 1. What Remains Of Edith Finch delivers a magical story driven narrative that submerges the player in a world of powerful narratives and game play. As a player you get to jump into the story that makes absolutely no sense to begin with. As the player explores the player is thrown into the lives and stories of a supposedly cursed family to learn each family members story and their fate. Each interactive story is different and never lacking in deep, intense emotion. As a player I always had this feeling of angst, of feeling unsure and uncomfortable at times. Other times the game felt nostalgic and bittersweet but always feeling some type of way that kept me on edge and wanting more. The game was/is not very long and I wished it would have been a lot longer. At the end of the game I found myself sad that it was over and I love to play the opening of this game right before bed, it is simply beautiful. Truly a awesome, magical tale that I wish more people would get to experience. Please give this game a shot!

More blood than I expected

At one point in the game you discover a family member had been brutally murdered. All the police could find was her bloody ear in her music box. I quit playing after that, so I can't attest to violence beyond that point.
