A realistic, war-based strategy for mature audiences.
I personally love this game. It is a great example of an RTS (real-time strategy) game. However, it realistically shows what modern warfare is like. It contains realistic violence, with dead infantry falling to the ground in a true-to-life manner (not rag-dolling) and the bodys linger on the scene of battle for a good couple minutes before fading. There is blood in the game and, depending on the performance of your PC, there will be blood stains on the ground, not overly noticeable, but there.
A plus tho, is that unlike a lot of war games, it doesn't glorify war, making it seem like and admirable and good thing. Rather, a few of the characters try to escape the brutality of the combat and are noticeably scared. World in Conflict displays war as it is; a brutal, horrific, unforgiving scene where people fight to kill other people.
If you are mature, however, this is a very good RTS that will keep you thinking and on the tip-of your toes.
This is the best RTS to date. i love the idea of not collecting resouces. lots of sratagy involved in the game. The mutiplayer is really good since you can make/join a clan
Great plot, but the single player campaign can get boring pretty soon. Its the multiplayer experience thats truly dynamic.Ya u can run over soldiers with tanks, but only in cutscenes or being zoomed in real close do u actually see blood. They need to make a CGi movie of this. Note the moviemaker and map creator downloads.
there is nothing wrong with this game AT all one of my favorites. yeah it shows little guys get run over by vehicles, but the thing is, they just fall over no blood nothing. Story is great honestly its like a movie made me cry almost its so touching.
age appropriate for any kid that can play a computer game well seriously
We know about the Cold War. The Cold War started in 1945 when everyone knows who were cruel--Soviets--killed Japanese people and ended in 1989. Japan won independence in 1999, so this is kind of realistic due to the fact to Japan, the Cold War to them ended in Asia LATER.
