Beyond Primetime Conference Webcasts

On February 5 and 6, 2007, Common Sense Media and the Aspen Institute came together to host "Beyond Primetime," the first national conference to examine the media environment that kids grow up in and look at its implications for society.
Held at the Time Warner Center in New York, Beyond Primetime brought together some of the best minds in media, policy, business, and public health to talk in-depth about how to make the media environment healthier for kids.
Among the speakers at the conference were: Jim Steyer of Common Sense Media; Gary Knell of the Sesame Workshop; A.O. Scott of The New York Times; Commissioner Deborah Tate of the Federal Communications Commission; Jane Brown of the University of North Carolina; and Howard Gardner of Harvard University.
