Helpful Podcasts for Teens

As parents and caregivers, we hope our kids will feel comfortable talking with us about anything. But as they age into teenagerhood, they're often looking to become more independent and self-sufficient. Podcasts are a great way to help teens get important information they might not find it easy to ask you about. Puberty, emotions, high school, transitions, friendships, body changes, dating: These resources will validate what teens are going through without any judgment. These shows speak to teens on their level, with hosts who can empathize, tools and advice for getting through some of the most challenging years, and topics that help them feel seen and understood. And while listening to these podcasts will never replace talking with a family member, they're a valuable tool that parents and caregivers can trust and feel comfortable about. Some may even spark important conversations or encourage your teens to talk about their emotions. Don't forget to check out Great Podcasts for Tweens and Teens for more recommendations to share.
