Parents need to know that C Is for Cow is a beautifully illustrated alphabet game for young children. It presents each letter of the alphabet with a corresponding animal whose name begins with the same letter. The game has two modes; the first displays the animals in alphabetical order, while the second displays them randomly.
Is it any good?
C IS FOR COW is a nice option for very young children who may or may not still be playing with a parent. The animals are illustrated with enough realism to keep them recognizable and the spoken portions are clear. The buttons are bold and obvious.Unfortunately, there is no response when touching the pictures of the animals which take up most of the screen real estate. That, combined with the disparity in capitalization between the letter and the animal name, keep this from being a truly top notch app.
