What's It About?

Kids tap three or more contiguous blocks to make them disappear. Kids must work quickly to prevent new rows from stacking up. There are two games Quest and Quick, and within each there are elements and modes that gradually add difficulty. The modes are controlled by the app not the user. Help for struggling players is integrated and timely. Kids either fail, pass, or finish as an expert sweeping time and colors.

Is It Any Good?

Kids say ( 1 ):

With its colorful landscapes, customizable characters, and simple, easy-to-learn game mechanics, COLLAPSE! is a fun puzzle app for younger players. The quest mode even gives it a meager-but-enjoyable storyline and cool boss creatures to "battle," like the Blocktopus. While a good choice for kids, Collapse! can be equally entertaining for older players as well.

It would be nice if kids could choose puzzle mode from the menu. Instead, they have to wait for the app to introduce it. Also, the synergy between this app version and the PC version can be a bit annoying for people who don't own the latter, but that doesn't takeaway from the fun of Collapse! itself.
