Parents need to know that Fancy Nancy Dress Up is primarily a dress-up app. Kids are invited to put together their own Fancy Nancy costumes with tops, bottoms, dresses, tiaras, shoes, gloves, jewelry, hats, coats, and more. They can choose a background or take a picture and use that as the background. There are also stickers to use as embellishment. The final images can be added to a short Fancy Nancy story, shared online, or saved on the device for printing out.

    The app includes written instructions, but it is relatively easy to figure out. Once you choose a category of clothing in the wardrobe, you have to exit entirely and go back into the wardrobe to choose a new category. This can be tedious.

FANCY NANCY DRESS UP is a cute game that will appeal to little girls who love dress up, especially those who enjoy the book series. The story component is weak, but most kids won't really care. With all of the many clothing choices, backgrounds, and sticker elements, you can set your imagination free and take Nancy from plain to posh in no time at all. With the ability to bring in your own images, kids can even dress up in their own outfits and strike a pose with Fancy Nancy.
