Many of the negative customer reviews for THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT on iTunes complain about the way the initial download is free, but that a price must be paid to "unlock" the full game. If you're clear on that, though, and not mistakenly thinking you're getting an epic mystery saga for free, you're likely to be happy with your purchase. It's a real boon for casual gamers -- those looking for beautiful graphics, an engrossing story, and puzzles that can challenge them without completely stumping them. The atmosphere here is great, though potentially too creepy for young kids. Young kids aren't the target audience here, though, with a tragic love affair being central to the plot. Twilight-loving teens, on the other hand, should have a great time with The Stroke of Midnight.
