When i first saw this movie: i wasn't expecting a fantastical thriller like Inception. The movie has quiet strong violence and moderate sexuality. Some murder scenes are intense aswell the interrigation scene. There's hardly any gore. The only violent scene is when the villain is shot by the hero several times with a handgun. Language is sometimes strong. There's certain amount of drug use (character taking pills for pain after shot in the leg). In some scenes detective arrests black people (usually quiet satire). Highly recommend this for kids aged 14+ since it has it's violent moments but isn't that gory. Really intense but not really violent.
