Kids under 14 should not be watching this, mainly because of the excessive coarse language (this film holds the record for the most number of F-bombs),and sexual content (three sex scenes and plenty of nudity throughout).

Definintly not for anyone under 17!
Alpha Dog is a fact based movie about Jesse James Hollywood, the youngest person to be on the FBI's most wanted list. In the film there is constant use of the F word, They constantly tell eachother to suck their C***. Also their are lots of drinking and drug use. Plus very graphic use of violence. This film may attract kids because of Justin Timberlake but be warned it is absolutely not for kids at all.

Yesterday, I did the last thing I'd want to do: Let my 11 year old son see this movie! I thought it would be too violent for him, but he insisted we see it. I thought it was average, so I give it 3/5 stars & a 5.5/10, but my son loved it, so he gives it 5/5 stars & a 10/10! I guess I didn't go wrong!

no one under 17? strong language? oh,common,Im SURE kids with 13 have already heard everything they say in da movie,or not?? strong sexual content? ITS NOT SO STRONG,just a couple of scenes,and not very graphic,except one of them. DRUGS? yeah,but that's a reality,graphic violence? DEFINATELY NOT, there's violence,thats true,but not so graphic as that (I dont remember his name) man in the video review. should be rated R? maybe not.

Powerful. Fantastic.
This was an powerful, heartrendering movie with plenty of depth. it was well portrayed, interesting, and very emotional. Its not some twisted invented plot- its a real, tragic story that shows a glimpse of how cruel life can be. I'd say 12+ varing on maturity. But I loved this movie, and i suggest it to anyone mature enough to handle it. Excellent!
