    My concerns are:
    • Inappropriate sexual content
    • Inappropriate language
    • Excessive consumerism
    • Drinking, smoking, or drug use
    • Negative message
    • Negative role models

Ugh. Absolutely awful. There's some funny moments, but the overall messages (your life is not complete without a baby, etc.) made me want to spork my eyes out. I think young women should be encouraged not to have children if that's what they want without feeling like there's something wrong with them for not wanting kids. Teens should understand that having a baby will not solve their problems and make them happy forever, like the movie seems to say.

I actually laughed out loud. However, some things could have been left out.

Amy Pohler is absolutely hilarious. The theme of the movie is actually one that is an issue in many women's lives. An unmarried woman wants a child, but is told by the doctor she can't. She explores adoption and is unable to succeed. She decides on surrogacy. However, the surrogate that is used is not of the moral standard that was expected. The writer could have left out all of the improper language, smoking and sexual advances (though all were few) to cause the movie to be all-around "really good." Good movie, but just did not need the things that caused the PG-13 rating. When will Hollywood learn that those who partake in these things will not miss them in a movie, but those who DO NOT, will surely take notice and may decide not to see the film.

    VERY funny

I saw this movie with 3 friends- we range in age from mid 40's to 70 and we all laughed our butts off at this movie.Going in we all hoped it would be funny but thought more likely it would be stupid. We were pleasantly surprised- yes, the premise is a bit unbelievalbe but there were lots of laughs and funny moments. We all felt happy leaving the theater. Given the subject matter, I wouldnt' recommend this movie for under about 13 or so but there was no sex, no violence and minimal bad language.

    Open Your Eyes Folks...

PEOPLE, WAKE UP & OPEN YOUR EYES TO WHAT THIS MOVIE IS REALLY ALL ABOUT: This movie is nothing more than the Hollywood set trying to push their brand of "morals" onto mainstream, middle America--let me explain. What we have here in this movie is a woman, unmarried, approaching 40 who wants to have children, WITHOUT A HUSBAND TO BE A FATHER TO THEIR CHILDREN. Then we have the hired woman to carry the surrogate child for the single, desperate woman, & this woman leaves her husband & shows up on the doorstep of the soon to be mom. So now we have 2 women living together, 1 of which has been artificially inseminated to get pregnant: WHAT DOES THIS LOOK LIKE TO YOU??? DO I REALLY NEED TO COME OUT & SAY IT?? And the whole way thru this story, they're creating laughs to make it all seem all right. This is Hollywood's clever & deceptive way of conditioning us "dum, unthinking masses of a****" into accepting what is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE & wrong: PLEASE SEE THIS MOVIE FOR WHAT IT REALLY IS & TAKE A STAND BY REJECTING IT IN SUPPORT OF THE TRADITIONAL FAMILY UNIT WHICH INCLUDES A MOTHER, FATHER, & CHILDREN.

    Cute, but be careful!

I loved this movie! It's such a cute movie, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wouldn't understand it (i.e. children who don't know how babies are made). I also don't exactly like that the pregnant woman went out to the club and talked Kate into getting drunk, so be careful! Overall, I love it!

    Laugh out loud hilarious!

Totally worth seeing! This movie has a funny flair with a little romance that all kids 10 and up will love. Some parents may be concerned with the language use and sexuality in this movie, but the plot is hilarious and Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler make the finishing touches! Peace.

Baby mama is a funny and sweet movie but for audiences maybe 11 and older

Well Baby mama is a pretty good film. There is no sex or implication of it but there are some references of it. Like 'quickie in the car' or 'did it'. The film is mainly about pregnancy. One of the women is giving birth to a baby (you don't see anything) and a woman says she can't have babies because of her T-shaped uterus. The violence is no issue. I can't really recall any time of violence. The language isn't that bad. Characters say a** (and hole added to it), s***, d***, and name-calling. Overall you have to 'know' your kid to decide what age this is for your child. If your child knows about where babies come from and how they are made then you don't have to worry about a thing. If your kid doesn't know the process of pregnancy like doesn't understand how they are made or where the came from and doesn't even know what 'sex' is then you have a huge problem on your hands.

    funny...ok

i totally think this is fine for 12 year olds and up cuz kids should know about all of that sex stuff or know it already at least. its not a big deal that they cursed a little bit (come on, "effin" is not that bad!). it was a funny movie but not haha funny. don't take a kid under like 11 to see this cuz otherwise it is DEFINATELY not appropriate. it was an ok movie but its not like i would see it again or get it on dvd or something.
