The Best Superhero Movie Ever Made
My 2nd Favorite of Alltime
I rate this title on for age 13 and give itEasily one of the best superhero movies of all time...
This movie was incredible. Better than any of the Spdier-Man's, the X-Men's, and The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man. Magnificent. The violence is not quite as intense as in The Incredible Hulk, but much more so than any of the other movies mentioned. There is some smoking and alchohol, but not a huge issue. some sexuality, but again it's not an issue. There is a fair bit of language, but for a PG-13 I don't believe it's much to worry about. This has a great plot and character development, and exciting action sequences. One of my favorite qualities of the movie was the soundtrack, which was to die for. This a must see for teens and up!

A Brooding and Engaging Re-Start to a Classic Hero!
BATMAN BEGINS sparked fans' imaginations when the trailer was first released. The classic comic book had turned into a string of four movies, the first in 1989. The series, which had started well, had faded into stupid mayhem under Joel Shumacher. But now comic book fans and fans of the original two Batman films get what they want from the crowd and critic pleasing new installment, BATMAN BEGINS, which starts the story anew as if the previous films didn't exist. It does a good job. The cast is spot on, the script pretty good, and the camera shots and editing are slick and make for the fast pace of the movie. The plot, which sometimes pushes the bounds of realism, contains much violence. Director Chris Nolan commented that people had become insensitive to violence and commented: "I wanted to take it (the violence) back to a grittier place, where you feel the punches a bit more.†He suceeds. Action, fighting, and more action. Much less stylized than Spider-man, and more brutal than Fantastic Four, the non-graphic violence is made creepier by the film's dark tone. Minor sex, and mild language like "sh*t" and "a*s". It's a fun film, but maybe not for everybody.

The greatest "Batman" movie since the 1989 "Batman"
I saw this when it was released in theaters with my son (who was 12 at the time) and I have to say it was so good we both went back to see a second time. This is Batman how he is ment to be portrayed and makes for a nice family movie night treat as long as your kids are either Batman fans or over the age of 11 at the most.

A Good Movie
I thought the movie was good. It wasn't as action-packed as I thought it would be. Though it is good you might want to think before letting your kids see it.

A strong PG-13
A great film many action sequences, some disturbing violent content though so be extremely careful before letting your child see this. Frighting cene pop up a few times in this film escpecially the scarecrow. For an average a 14 year old should be mature enough and I have no doubt once you see this you'll want to own it.

The best Batman movie
I enjoyed watching this movie. It was action packed and very entertaining. I would have to say that I like this Batman movie the best compared to all the previous Batman movies.

Good Stuff
Very much like the original batman movies. Although the acting took a step down, the effects and action took a step up. The new batmobile is great.

Entertaining but scary
Batman Begins tells the story of a conflicted young man trying to deal with the idea of evil in the world after the loss of his parents. Because he overcomes his desire for vindictive revenge, Bruce becomes a better role model, but this film is still iffy on issues of social behavior because of the danger of children imitating the violence depicted. This film fits several of the criteria given on the Common Sense media violence checklist for whether media violence is affecting your kids. The effects of the hallucinogenic drugs were terrifying for an adult, I can't imagine a young child dealing with them. I would not recommend this film for children under thirteen, and young or easily scared teenagers would do better watching with an adult.

Batman done right,but dark
As an adult, I'm a huge fan of Batman as the "dark knight" and not the cartoonish fop of the TV series. This movie gets it right... a dark atmosphere, a tortured mind, constant questions of right and wrong. The special effects are well done and, for the most part, do not overwhelm the storyline. That said, as a parent I would not let my 8 year old see this -- the action, the violence, and the themes are intense (as they should be). Best to be consumed by kids 12 or up who are not prone to nightmares.

Kept me at the edge of my seat.
I took my 7 year old son to see the movie and we both loved it. At first I thought great another batman movie, but to my surprise it was a very good movie. My son and I were very pleased with the movie and plan on purchasing the DVD when it comes out.

GREAT!!
This was almost as good as the 2nd batman but definitely not as violent. I thought it was a lot scarier than the 2nd one, even with the joker!! Scarecrow is TERRIFYING but nothing a mature 11 year old can't handle. More complicated however and it is harder to see the close u violent parts of the movie.

This is a good movie: My favorite
This movie is really good and one of my absolute favorites! The role models are fine, and the story is great. Its about overcoming your fears. Language could be a problem, but is mild compared to many things out there. No F or S words. Some call this a "dark" movie, but its really only because Batman works at night. The main violence or scary problems would be the images the drugged people see. For instance, a man that looks like a creature's face with worms and bats crawling out. Or an ugly looking Batman. Violence is really mainly punches and wrestling. Gore only includes a bloody shirt and some scratches. The main sexual content was a seen with some girls in strapless dresses, who later on jump into a decorative pool with Bruce Wayne (this is a playboy seen) Other then that it is a great movie, I love the characters, and the story is amazing the way it is put together.

Excellent
This is an excellent film. It shows how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman. While this film is not as good as its sequel The Dark Knight, it is still an excellent watch. While I feel that this film is unsuitable for young children, I think that it is suitable for the 11+ age group.

Awsome Action/Comedy!
Now, I know that you are thinking "Comedy?!" but, there are some REALLY funny moments. Also, the casting department did a realllyyyy good job on choosing charaters. All acting is supurb, and the story is new, yet stays true to the comics. Immediate watch for comic book and action movie fans :)

2nd best in the Batman saga!
In this movie, Dr. Crane becomes the evil Scarecrow. He uses a drug that makes people see thier darkest fears. Batman has to stop Ra's Al Ghul and Scarecrow.
