This is Matin Lawrence at his BEST. Blue Streak is a hilarious story of a dude that hides a stolen gem in a building under construction and then goes to jail. When he gets out, he finds out that 'his' gem is in a newly built Police Station, and he decides to pose as a cop to get it back. Kinda like Corky Romano & Houseguest. Appropriate for most teens and great entertainment.

What Parents Need to Know
About Blue Streak
Parents need to know that there is some strong language and some raw humor. Furthermore, the movie departs from Hollywood tradition in leaving the hero unrepentant and in possession of the stolen jewel.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about the real consequences of such a robbery, and the situation Lawrence faces in working with at least one colleague who has no compunctions about betrayal and murder.
