What others don't mention about the alien invasion is the constant "vaporizing" of characters. I thought it would just happen once or twice, but characters kept getting vaporized - totally freaking out our son. We left the theater with our five year old.

Funny, but fast paced and scary parts for younger kids.
While there is funny content, the story jumps from step to step far too quickly, as is often the case too many insider adult jokes and the quick devolution into killer aliens was quite scary for the younger kids. Also, as others noted, using things like "wanna be my lover" and other content seems more of a tool for a "sure thing laugh" rather than creative content that stands by itself. Again as others said: why unspoken the missing parent? Really? Needed? That all being said, I was laughing myself. I think keeping it at least to a mature 6 year old and up is warranted, if only for the killer aliens.

I rate this title iffy for age 11 and give itI am worried about some content of this movie
i have not seen this movie in part because i saw commercials for it on TV which turned me off. the one in particular was "i need to do something amazing to make my father think i am special" what the hell is this?. My brother consistantly lived by this in the 70's he never reached this goal as our father was an alcoholic, today at 34 my brother has accomplished nothing and thinks he is stupid. what kind of message is this sending children about thier parents? a parent should think their children are special and treat them that way no matter what they do or say. it is called unconditional love!

Be my lover?
Am I the only one that has a problem with a little girl character singing along to a song asking "will you be my lover"? My five year-old enjoyed the movie, but it is a very thin story jam-packed with music sequences to popular songs. This was used effectively in the Shreck movies, but it's over done in Chicken Little. Stereotypes are used, and as usual one of the parents (the mother) is dead.

Ok for kids.
This it a good movie for kids 4+. Sure it has a little violence, but besides that, the movie is okay. Even the G rating proves it.

A G rated alien adventure
This movie has some scenes where aliens attack the city. Even though it has aliens (one of my favorite things to read about), it isn't one of my favorites.

A classic!
This is a great family movie with plenty that adults will enjoy too! But parents be aware that there is some potty talk. Also, aliens invade the city. They make jokes from a lot of movies like Star Wars and War of the Worlds. The movie has a good message about family bondage. This movie will get a laugh out of anyone(Morkubine Porkubine is one reason)!

I really liked it at the end but at the beginning I didn't want to see it
I liked the part where he won the baseball game. People did not believe in him before he got the big hit. I was iffy about the aliens at first. They were a little scary. But at the end they weren't.

Really silly. Good for any age!
The movie was great and silly. The Alien part could be scary for little kids, but not the 8, 7, 6 or 4 year old boys who went with me. Turkey Lurkey the mayor was funny. It had all the Characters from the Chicken Little story and more. I would recommend this movie for 4 year olds and over.

Fine
Chicken Little is good. It is just like any other Disney 3-D animation movie released lately. Cute, but teenagers may find it boring. (or stupid, even.)

Disney does a good job in CG without Pixar
