This is one of about 6 movies I would show to a 2 yr old. At 2, they are too young to understand that sharks are scary. The shark scene is pretty short and mild. This is one of my go-to movies on sick days.

It's alright for my 2 year old
My 2 year old loves it. There are some scary parts that spook him but he loves watching this movie. It's also educational because it talks about the ocean at times. He loves to act like Bruce the shark. I guess it all depends on the child.

Great for 4+, iffy for 2-3y/o. You have to know your child. If your child isn't phased by things with sharp teeth chasing main characters, go for it.

The mother dies and nemo is abducted. The first 15 minutes is terrifying for a little kid. I do NOT recommend this movie for anyone under 5.

good
I don't really think the scenes get too tense or are too violent. I think this has beat after beat of positive messages and I approve this movie!
I rate this title on for age 5 and give itSpectacular. Touching, Heart-warming tale is a masterpiece.
This film is truly incredible. Litte to no content problems at all. Some of the creatures might be a little scary for your youngest, but aside from maybe a few scry scenes, this movie is perfect for family viewing. Heartwarming film. Pixar has yet to make a mistake.

A Hilarious, Family-Friendly Film from our Favorite...Pixar!
PIXAR is just a great studio. Let me say that first. Not a single one of their films is of low quality or inappropriate. This is no exception. The only iffy part of the movie is when Marlon's wife is killed by a shark, which some kids will be scared by. Marlon is playfully chasing his wife around, and they see a shark. Instead of going back into protection, Coral (the wife) swims down to where her eggs are buried, and the shark dives after her. Marlon tries to halt it, but it slaps him into an anemone and he blacks out. When he wakes, Coral and all but one scratched egg are missing. That's all there is. This is a great family film. Adults will love it too.

My Daughters Favorite Movie
I knew we were in trouble when my duaghter knew who Nemo was before she even knew what TV was. We borrowed this movie from a friend when my daughter was sick and laying on the couch. She absolutely loved it. While at 2.5 she can't really grasp the concept of death she handled the first sence very well. The only part that truely scared her was with the sharks, but you can fast foward through most of this without interfering with the main story. My daughters favorite parts incude the turtles and the fish making different shapes. Overall a great movie.

Finding Nemo
Sexual Content (Not an Issue): A brief innuendo about "thinking dirty thoughts." Violence (Pause): Marlin's wife and most of his unborn babies are killed in a shark attack (not seen). Some sharks almost eat Marlin and Dory (after we briefly see some blood from the latter). Language (Not an Issue): None. Social Behavior (On): Diverse characters, including a disabled character. Nemo learns to obey his father, and Marlin learns to let his son grow up. Commercialism (Not an Issue): None. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco (Not an Issue): Sharks attend an AA-type meeting; some pelicans think that another one is drunk (with one saying that he's had too much and it's still only the morning).

(AWESOMENESSISSISITY)
It gets kinda dirty. There is blood that was drawn and shown that lead to a shark attack. Also, There was suggestive language, "butt", "grumpy-gills" and other suggestive languages. I LOVED IT. AND THATS IT.

Excellent movie for kids and adults alike!
I loved this movie, and I'm not ashamed to tell you that I'm 33! From the quality of the animation to the story and clever dialogue and voice acting, this movie was delightful to watch from beginning to end. I really forgot that I was watching an animated movie created on a computer. The animation was so well done and the characters and story were so engaging that I was only interested in following them in their quest to find Nemo. I recommend you somehow take your family to see this movie on the big screen if it becomes available again. Seeing it on a television is just not the same.

Definitely not my favourite pixar movie. I find it hard to care for these characters. Not much of a story, it's exactly what the title suggests. It's a fish finding his son. Hmmm...

An excellent movie!
This movie is really great! I enjoyed it a lot! Even my grandma and grandpa watched all of it! (And that's saying a lot!) There are a few iffy spots, like *SPOILERS!* A great white shark in rehab becoming a fish eating machine after smelling some on-screen blood (he has good values in the end). A Barracuda in the beginning of the movie eats marlins wife and all but one of his eggs. A Diver comes up suddenly, with little warning and will probably startle some viewers and creep little tots out. *END SPOILERS* All in all, This is a great family movie to watch again and again!

great movie for the family
except that the sharks may be to scary especially in the beggining with the swordfish if your little ones are scared of that sort of stuff fast forwaard through the shark and swordfish parts

A movie totally appropriate for kids.
The only thing I would say bad about this movie is it's kind of tiring about watching it a few times, there's some violence with sharks, and Nemo tells his dad that he hates him, but at the end, he takes it back.

I bought the tape when I was little and freaked out over the sharks. My dad had to come in and calm me down. That doesn't happen anymore, though. Anyway, THIS MOVIE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie is very sweet, and is a great role model for kids. Sure, they're talking fish. But Kids can learn a lot of great lessons from it. And besides, its pixar. What can you expect????

This is so cute!
This movie is so cute! The anamation is brilliant and almost looks real! When this movie came out to Village Cinemas I was in grade 3 and my class went on an excursion to Village Cinemas to see it! The whole class loved it including the teacher. A couple of things that may be scary for little kids (for example the sharks) but the rest definately isn't an issue. A very pure and innocent movie! Nemo is so cute, he's my favourite cartoon character! Dory is hilarious too. Your never too old to enjoy a good animated movie like this one!

Great for younger kids, but boring for older ones
This movie was actually kinda boring. Younger kids will probably like it, but older kids won't be too thrilled. It's sort of slow.

Pixar does it again.
Pixar is always great in the animation department. This time, they make the ocean breath-taking, the big fish cool, and the humans believable looking. Charming! I just found it a little slow-paced.

Good family movie!
This is a fantastic film to watch on a cinema BIG BIG widescreen! It does have some funny sayings and where CR-AZY seagulls keep saying "Mine Mine Mine Mine Mine!" There are some bits where Nemo's Dad and confused fish Dory (looking for Nemo) nearly get killed!

BEST CGI DISNEY MOVIE!
I love this movie. It's adorable, hilarious, and exciting. Dory is my favorite and all the fish tank gang in the dentist office are great! This is a great movie to watch when you really need a good laugh. Seriously, just like I think about the Polar Express, you'd have to have a hert of stone not to at least think this movie is cute.

Best and Cleanest CGI Film of All Time!
This is absolutely the best movie ever. Highly entertaining, absolutely hilarious, fantastic plot, music, and dialogue, and, (brace yourselves), a GOOD moral! Teaches kids great standards, shows how humor can be squeaky clean, and the animation is breathtaking. Things of minor concern: Several mumbled "what the"'s from the dentist, and four instances of the word "butt" as a fishy mispronunciation of the word "boat." Very funny.

Dull.
Much to everyone's surprise, I didn't like finding Nemo. It was boring and dull, and to make things worse, everyone wants to watch it again and again, and keeps repeating those same old stupid one liners. I dislike this movie and all that stems from it. And having Dory in it is offensive. There are many people out there with short-term memory issues like that and I think it's offensive to create a character that mocks that.

it is sooooo cute!!!!!!!!!
IT IS SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
