Our whole family watches this. Our 5 year old sings along and can recite the lines too.

Good Movie!
If this movie is not for young kids then who is it for. I am very strict with what my son watches and I like this movie. There is one kiss in the whole movie and there is no real sexual content because all of the relationships are very innocent. The story line is basic and probably a little boring to the teens. I took my son to see Madagascar because it was a cartoon and regretted it for adult jokes but even though this movie is real kids it has none of that.
- I rate this title off for age 17 and give it
Not appropriate for young children
adult themes, too much kissing. great music though- should be for much older kids or young adults.

High school Musical 2 is awsome
There're about six main charters there are Troy Bolton, Gabriella Montez,Sharpay Evans, Chad Danforth, and Taylor Mckessie and they want a job but they want a job that they will be able stick together or at least see each other once in a while. Troy Bolton is on a basketball team with his best friend Chad and his dad is the coatch. His dad accepts the best out of troy. Troy got a phone call one day saying thatyou and your friends got a job at Lava Springs. Shapay's dad owens Lava Springs. Sharpay was mad because she only wanted Troy, instead of all of his friends. Sharpay wants to break up Troy and Gabrilla so she can sing with Troy at the school talent show. Troy loves basketball and gabriella likes Science Fair. Mrs. Darvios is in charge of the talent show. Sharpay went and asked Mrs. Darvios if she could change the Talent show. She said, sure. Now the science fair is on the same day as the talent show and the championship basketball game. Troy was really mad at Sharpay because she changed the date.

Great role model for girls
If my girls emulated Gabriella, I'd be ecstatic. She's smart, nice, strong, doesn't allow herself to get pushed around, knows her own mind and self. The messages in this one are actually better than the first.

OK HSM2

Great Movie
Much bettter rhan the first one:although little kids may not look to the fact that girls talk about boys,a and there is a date in it. Also flirting between Troy and Gabriella, other that this, Great Movie!

Grease meets the brady bunch...Quality family time... The kids (8 &10 yr old boys) could'nt wait and neither could I, and it did'nt disappoint. Completely wholesome with worth while messages. Both movies are written quite differently than your typical teen flicks or shows, even those on the Disney channel, thus they may seem cheesey at first, but watch them a couple of times and they are guaranteed to grow on you. Kids have watched them over and over. Can't wait for the next one, sorry to see it will be in theaters...

Not as good as the first
My 7 year old daughter has watched this movie all three evenings this weekend and loves every minute of it. I personally think it is not as good as the first one, but completely harmless and has a few good messages about being true to who you are, and how friends need to treat one another. It is just too long and should have been edited more - I felt like they were trying too hard to top the 1st one.

Tween Delight
I watched this with about 12 girls ages 8-11, including one of my daughters. They loved it. Some of it--primarily the suspension of reality--made me roll my eyes, but overall, I actually liked it better than the first movie.

:D
It was cute, but I hated how at the end of HSM1 Sharpay got along with everyone, and by the time this one came, she was enemies with them again. That didn't work out. But this movie was funny.

From Good To The Worst
I used to be obsessed over High School Musical, until everybody became obsessed. They're now driving me crazy: everywhere I look, HSM adverts, T-shirts, backpacks... whatever. Very young children (5-6 years)are simply obsessed with this movie because everybody they know is too. I know children who haven't even seen the movie, and they love it! Plus the movies are too corny and lame.

This movie is horrible, just like the first

Worst Movie Ever!!
Ok, first of all I didn't want to see this weird movie anyway, but I was forced too.I was at summer camp and they made every camper watch it!It was the worst time of my life! The first one was horrible but this one was worse. They made a third one and I have two choices,do not see it ever or go to see it and make fun of it. Don't waste your time watching this movie.

I felt sick of boredom
Sooo boring. Way worse than the first. DON'T WATCH IT!

HSM 2 is an inspiring movie, it's fun, and exciting!!! This movie made me feel like I was in the movie. There was nothing innappropriate in the hole movie, it's perfect for kids as long as they haven't heard about Vannessa Ann Hudgens' pics... crazysva

ok, I guess
When the first High School Musical came out, I loved it! I knew every song by heart in just a few days of watching it. I still love the first High School Musical. I got sick of the second one very easily. Zc Efron looked 10x worse, Vanessa wasn't as nice and sweet, they were horrible and corny. I thought the restof the cast did a good job, but the movie all together was a disaster. It was good at first but I got sick of it!
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
A good movie
This movie I have to say was a good movie but, it us a little corny... I mean mostly from experiance if I had all 5th,6th,7th,8th graders sign a paper saying how many of them liked this movie... mostly 5th graders would sign it... the casting was ok... i mean vanessa anne hudgens, zac efron, lucas grabeel:). monique coleman, corbin bleu, andashley tisdale... were by far great actors and actresses... but... I mean I think they should have actors and when I say that I am refering to Zac Efron that actually sing... this star wouldn't make it very far if he didn't have part of Drew Seeley's voice now would he? By far this movie is good for all ages (if you llike it)
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
i like that show
that show is the best show i watch it almost every time it comes on and i also can not wait until the next high school musical is made and is previewing the show and i also would like it if i could meet zac efron he is the coolest person i have ever seen i also heard that he is a nice guy to i wonder if him and ashley tisdale will ever go study with him.i will rate this show as many satrs they will let me !!!!

This movie was pointless
okay..... the first one was ok. the second was corny. Zac Efron looked like he was a girl. Whoever coreographed the scene was like out of thier mind or something. He looked like he was gay. the third movie is coming out in theaters. i mean seriously.... come on.... the theaters? at least at home you dont have to worry about getting a refund on tickets if you dont like it.
- I rate this title iffy for age 2 and give it
uhhh
While the first movie was heart-warming, this was....er....not. While the message was good, most of the songs were nonsense words shoved together to a catchy tune. The dances were mostly good, but Zac Efron's single number was a scary ballet of terror. A boy(or girl) should move like that. The final number was almost touching, but lacked the sentimental value of the previous installment.
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
cheesy but good
This isn't the best movie i have ever seen but it isn't the worst. It seems like Disney always portrays high school as a big fun game but it's not, theres gangs, drugs and a lot more. Anybody that thinks this movie has a lot of kissing in it has got to be out ogf there mind, it is very clean and good movie for any age.
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
Great!
Thsi movie is totally great. I wouldn't say that it is better or worse than HSM, it's just...diffrent, though terrific. One of my best friends didn't really like the first one, but does like this one. So, all in all (my apoligies to those who banish those three words from the world of the essays), I would say watch whether or not you like numero uno.
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
cool stuff
I think they should make 5 High school musical becouse they r so good!!!!!!!!!!
- I rate this title iffy for age 2 and give it
Love the Singing
It has great realisom, kissing.
I rate this title on for age 2 and give itGreat movie... but not as good as HSM1
I love High School Musical. Who doesn't? The first one was WAY better than number 2, but the second one still makes me want to sing and dance. High School Musical 1 and 2 are both great (and clean) movies for kids. They are seriously great. But I don't think a third movie is necessary.
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
liked it but....
this was better than HMS1 but still is disney. the 3rd one is coming out in theaters at halloween. i hope it is better
