this movie isnt to vilont but there is one scene thats inaproprete. It's when Manny suggets to have sex with another girl mamoth to stop there species from going exstincted. ( but in a very mild way that little kids probably wont understand it but older kids will.)

- I rate this title iffy for age 5 and give itMy concerns are:
- Inappropriate sexual content
a good movie but one very ina proprete scene.
- I rate this title off for age 2 and give itMy concerns are:
- Inappropriate language
- Negative role models
The language and social interaction is unacceptable as a G rated movie, the sewer of Hollywood needs to wake up, stop feeding our children trash. Feed your garbage to your own children.

Okay
Violence is okay. I knew the swear words when I was five. It's okay

Family Film but not for younger children
Some of the humor is definitely written for teens or adults, but younger children can enjoy the comedy and visuals. It is a little grim compared to the original "Ice Age". My six year old enjoyed it - watching with an adult to explain some things, but inappropriate for younger children.

Great Movie. 7 y.o. son has watched it twice.

Cute and a little edgy
It was very entertaining with a few questionable parts which seem to have gone over the heads of the little ones anyway. It definitely kept my 4 year old glued to the screen and repeating some of the lines all week long even after seeing it only once! The Sid worshipping scene was one of the highlights for sure.

What did he just say?
Not a good kid movie!! Movies for little kids shouldn't have characters who kids will want to copy say pervert! Not only that but it was a boring, lifeless disgrace to the first movie!

Really good movie!

cute story
The story was really nice about 6 animals trying to save the other animals from a melt down. Good for kids under 10.

A hysterical movie with a few questionable points.
I will put it this way- Ice Age: The Meltdown is an extremely funny movie. It has a great plot, awesome characters, and stunning animation. But with all of those pros, it has a few cons. There is a small bit of mild language( a--, crap) and some mild sexual innuendoes about Manny and Ellie now being able to save their species. This movie would have gotten 5 out of 5 stars if it had not been for the questionable content. 8 and up.

This is an excellent movie. My favorite character is the short dude (whatever his name is).

Ice Age: pretty good
It's a good movie for all ages, but I was surprised at some of the language. The animation is good and the plot also. Both the first and the Melt Down are worth watching stars: 4 Not for 8 and under

This movie is funny i enjoyed it but i cant believe other kids are making such a big deal about a few curse words adults are the ones making the movie in the fist place.

Aimed for kids, huh?
Sex, any kind of swearing, covered-up crude words (butt, shut up) are never acceptable. I loved the first Ice Age. Call it the clean CGI movie. The second, however....it seems Blue Sky began to think like the other movie compatnies and try and stick in as much innappropriate material as they could. Blatant innuendo and a couple "donkey jokes." (Which aren't even funny.) What makes them think this improves sells? All I know is I'm not buying any more of Ice Age 2's products now. They just lost a customer. Parents should realize that these movies can be just as dangerous as "adult" movies, since they're teaching kids at a young age that certain things are acceptable. To cap it all, the story itself was not a tenth as good as the first. No cute baby.

Waste of an animator's time
I fully understand the fact that they are just animals, but that does not mean that they have to add inuendo to them. I think that it would be wonderfull if there wern't any sex whatsoever in any movies, but since that won't happen because the world is warped, I won't worry about it. I so think that this movie is suited for a mature child(or teen) who fully understands that all the inuendo and vulgar speech isn't really neccessary to make an excellent movie. Over all, I thought the graphics were wonderfull myself.

Not quite as good as the original
Ice Age: The Meldown was a good, if not great, kids movie. It was appropriate for anyone over the age of four. Although I liked the original better, Ice Age 2 is still worth watching.
