Its a heavy movie to watch, something that I would recommend an audience of 16+. It deals with one of todays bigger issues of teen pregnancies which has been a growing problem in our nation in recent years. The cast is likeable and over is a well thought out and written movie. It would be a good movie for the older teens to watch so that they may get a better understanding of what a family has to go through during those tough times. Often times helecopter parents will tell their kids just "no sex" and give little reason as to why, or give them horror stories to scare them out of having kids in the first place. But in this movie it shows what a teen has to go through and how the parents may react also. The main character faces against difficult decisions whether to abort the child or not and how her choices will effect her life and conscience. In the end though she comes out a more mature being from her experience. A good movie for any mature teen.

If you want your teens to think pregnancy is cool...
Teenage girl shoplifts from a storekeeper who is kind to her, vomits in her mother's favorite vase and has unprotected sex with a boy she doesn't even like very much. She makes the important decision of whether or not to have an abortion based on her dislike of the other women in the doctor's waiting room. She is shallow and irresponsible but the movie asks us to love her because she is quirky and cute. False values from a dangerously charming role model.

Have you seen the cover. Slightly overrated, bad message, but OK.
I watched this movie with my best friend and I am SOOOO glad I didn't watch it with my parents. Do you know what it's about. A girl gets pregnant and in the end, she got on with her life. It made it seem OK to have sex before marriage. Kids just learning about sex should not see this. Parents cautioned for mid teens.

Sweet Teen Comedy
This was a beautiful teen comedy about pregnancy. I think there's not really too many issues. Of course there's sex, but with consequence. Language is strange, but not terrible (ex-"pork sword.")

Thought Provoking
I enjoyed this movie, and it really made me think. There are definitely adult topics that parents should be discerning about before allowing their teens to see it (I'd say it's not ok for children). But I think I would be comfortable with my younger sisters seeing this movie (they're 14 and 15). It doesn't glamorize pregnancy as a teen, although it probably appears a little easier for Juno since she is so laid-back, moreso than a normal teen girl would be. It was very poignant and dramatic at times, while at other times pretty sarcastic and lighthearted. Once she's gone through giving birth and is lying in the hospital bed with no baby and then you see the mother who has adopted her baby, it really drives home the reality of it all. I think this movie would be good for young girls to see if their parents are okay with it.

This is a great movie. I think it's ok for some kids 12 and up. It depends on your child. Great soundtrack too.

Not appropriate for under 16
My daughter ended up watching this at her friend's house - mistake. There is a disregard for the seriousness of unplanned teenage pregnancy and the 'just make a call to get rid of your problem' consideration of abortion - a poignant example of society's attempt to swep under the carpet life's consequences instead of working through them. Ultimately Juno did make the honorable decision. The scene with the adopted father-to-be was twisted and way mature for kids. The movie is good for the mature audience, but was marketed for a way to young crowd.

Okay movie--crude language--a bit juvenile, but not for juveniles.
Sex, sex talk...come on people--this was rated PG13...what?? Fine for adults...didn't think it was quite up to the media hype but decent.

As an adult, I enjoyed this movie, not for kids.
I feel that this movie makes teen pregnancy seem like an inconvenience, but not so bad. She has the baby and then goes on with her life.

Dialogue is not to be missed!
This was a wonderful movie. Entertaining from beginning to end, and relates some very edgy topics at the same time. Juno is a girl that decides to have sex with the one guy she truly loves. She gets pregnant and after a rapid, but deep, process of soul searching, decides to keep the child to term and ensure that the child will have the perfect parents. The method for finding the perfect parents is ridiculous, but needless to say the first couple they see is the right couple. Gee, that was lucky. But are they? Aye, that's the rub. They turn out to have some deep issues too, and how that gets resolved leads to some incredible acting. If you watch this movie with your kids, be prepared to have a long discussion afterwards, because you won't be able to just turn it off and walk away without saying something; and if you do say something, it won't be a short discussion. Good thing the movie pretty much gives you a level playing field to bring up and sort out all the issues, i.e., you can see all the problems at each step along the way and discuss them and not feel they left out something major.

I loved the movie, I was a bit upset because of italian dubbing
You must see a movie like this one: it may change at least the way you'll wake up the morning after, and for me this really means something.

I found the entire movie to just be one huge collection of awkward moments. If your kid really wants to see it... I say go for it! Just encourage them not to make some of the mistakes made in this movie. there is a chance to learn something here... *winks*

Nice movie but not for younger children.
Juno faces pregnancy and very little is described how, so the movie shows the problems faced, not how the problem was created. So, what r u waiting for???This is a very important message needed for teens in future of their lives.

Mature tweens and teens...
So funny! Very sweet, sarcastic humor with some very touching scenes. Although you may not want your child to see this because of the obvious teenage pregnancy, it's not graphic and it's very sweet. Ellen Page is wonderful along with Micheal Cera...

Depends on the kid but in general... off for 10 and under iffy for 11-13 and good for 14 and up
Besides the sex, swearing, and little reference to drugs, it's a well put together, directed, and written movie that all depends on how mature the kid or viewer is. I saw it when I was 11 or so which was normal because I have a step-sister who is now 25 and I come from a mature family (meaning I am mature) So depending how how the parent raises the child and how exposed they are to the concept of getting pregnant. Give some condsideration before showing it to children

Haven't Seen It But...
Since I haven't actually seen the movie, all I can say is that premarital sex is alright by me. Also, it shows Juno is a strong and righteous teenager by not aborting her accidental child. Abortion is murder.

Great Movie with a Great Message
This movie is one of my favorites. It is TOTALLY funny, with great jokes and fun dialog. Even though she is a pregnant-teen, the message is important. She tries to find a happy couple who can take good care of her baby, and *SPOILERS* helps out the wife when she gets divorced, giving her the baby, because really only the wife wanted the baby. Love the movie and would watch it again.

Cute and funny movie for almost any age!
This is one of my favorite movies. It was so adorable. Michael Cera is my favorite actor ever! I love him so much... Anyways... Go watch this movie because it is the cutest and sweetest movie of all time. An instant classic. It teaches kids to not be a teenager and pregnant. Also, great music. The only bad thing is that it's not very realistic. Because when you get pregnant it's not as easy as just finding a parent in 2 seconds. It takes time. It's ok my parents told me that. I did not figure that out on my own. ;-)

Juno
i loved it...it is a kind of subtle humor with witty comments. It doesn't have seriousness in the topics of usual concern but its good. i liked it a lot. Yea, the messages aren't all good but kids this age should know that and put it in their minds while watching this and know its just a comedy. Juno has a good personality, she's awesome and smart. The movie has a few swears and stuff but its used kind of casually and/or naturally so it isn't just a bunch of nonsense you're hearing.

One of my favorite movies of all time - a must-see
Ellen Page stars in this moving dramedy about a teenage pregnancy. Naturally, the sexual behavior in this movie is a little iffy; but the only on-screen show is when she becomes pregnant, during which you don't see anything you... wouldn't want to. Language is spicy and a little inventive (f--ity is used), but other than that, I didn't have much problem with it. It's heartwarming and heartbreakingly real - Juno MacGuff sets a great example for all of us.
