Perfect for young adults who know right from wrong
The movie was very funny however, there was a strong use of sex and drugs. The movie was not tended to be used as a role model for adolecents. The mishaps that occur are funny but it would be sad if a kid aspired to be Seth Rogen.

Anyone who expected a movie with Seth Rogen in it about getting pregnant unintentionally was going to be happy go lucky shouldn't have seen it. This was a really great movie and was terrific about dealing with unplanned pregnancy. People will say that younger kids shouldn't see it but realize that most kids above the age of 12 swear on a daily basis and most kids above the age of 14 know someone who smokes pot, if they don't themselves.

Honestly, when it comes to this movie I'd say it depends on your kid. If they're more mature, then I'd say this movie is a 14+. If they're not, then I'd say 16+.

Judd Apatow is a genius
Great movie that, if watched right, can be a good lessen for teens who don't fully understand the problems caused by unprotected sex. Recommended for no one younger than 15.

this is a great movie. theres tons of sex sences and drug use. but it teaches a good lesson to teens. there is a lot of strong languge bit i do not think that is a problum but over all it's great

Worst movie ever
Paid for this on pay per view to watch with my teenage daughters...thought it would be a good "meg ryan" type romantic commedy. had to turn it off after 30 minutes...should have turned it off after first five...so vulgar, untinteligant and filthy...come on? Katherine heigl should be ashamed of making such a movie. We deserve better.

Not so good
Some people I know loved this movie and thought it was hilarious. I watched about half of it and turned it off. It had a few funny moments until then, but was just so goofy, awkward, and ridiculous that I couldn't bring myself to watch the whole thing. Plus, the whole unemployed, druggie type with the attractive, successful, TV SHOW HOST???????? I'll give this movie 2 disappointing stars. And in case you needed me to say it, the content of this movie is NOT FOR KIDS!

Message Questionable
I took my 16 year old to see it. Since we have an open relationship, it was not a shocker to her or me, but for some it's going to be over the top. Some of the scenes were extremely graphic! It does make premarital sex acceptable, which was the most undesirable part of the movie for me.

Not What I Expected
I went into this film expecting to see the obligatory sex scene that would enable this particular pregnancy story. What I found was one raunchy nasty movie that made me very uncomfortable (at the age of 22!) with my friends sitting right beside me. I would say, if you have to watch this move... don't.

Story line was funny, some lovable characters -- but overpowered with the vulgar scenes and language that did not add to movie content. When I was 17, this would have been rated "X" -- no kidding -- too bad -- it was otherwise a realy cute, funny movie.

hilarious
I thought Knocked Up was a very interesting movie. It portrayed what happens when you have unprotected sex and the consequences. I imaginge many of the viewers were 17 and up. It taught a valuable lesson to the 17 year olds, even to the adults as well. You shouldn't have sex unless you are married or in a strong relationship. It is unwise to go party and then engage in sexual activity. You might end up pregnant, like in this movie, however it did show that they kept the baby and got to know eachother to make it work. Which is what every couple should do.

Lowers the bar for vulgar shock-humor
I went to see this movie after having heard a review on NPR. But I would have passed had the reviewer made clear how in-your-face vulgar it is. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind movies in which characters curse to a realistic degree, and I'm not particularly prudish about sex scenes. But this movie was just so beyond the pale. My wife and I went with friends, which was pretty much the only thing preventing us from walking out twenty minutes into the thing. Every character over 12 in this film says f**k at least twice every sentence. That's perhaps a mild exaggeration - but only just. I don't particularly find it offensive to view drug use, but for what it's worth the main character is high on something roughly 50% of the time. There are fewer scenes without graphic depictions of sex acts than with. And then . . . there's the crowning child's head in the final birth scene. It’s still haunting my dreams. The sad thing about all this is that a great deal of the humor was funny in its own right, and ultimately the movie had merit as a film. But I for one (and I stress again that I am not a particularly sensitive viewer) just could not wade through the minute-by-minute shock-value vulgarity to appreciate these aspects of the movie. This movie is another piece in the ever-growing body of evidence that Hollywood has utterly lost touch with 99% of the country’s standards for decency.

Great Movie
I really liked this movie. It was a humorous film, and at the same time had a good ending. It was just a fun movie to watch. I think it's on for ages 13+, if the kid is mature, because this movie has a lot of swear words, a lot of drug use, and the movie is very sexual. The drug use in this movie is just about the worst it can get. If the teens are mature enough though, they will know that this is just Hollywood and it's not an ideal situation. It's a very fun movie in my opinion though. The two main characters talk a lot about what is going to happen with the baby, and he becomes more mature towards the end of the film. I really liked it.

Knocked Up will make you laugh.
In this hilarious riot from the talented Writer/Director Judd Apatow will have you in stitches through the whole movie. Seth Rogen is crude and lovable as stoner Ben. On the other side of town there is the pretty blonde Allison(Katherine Heigl). The two have an encounter at a club and then after a drunken one night stand. The two realise they have nothing in common and part. About 8 weeks later she breaks the news to him about her being pregnant. The two try and work things out and turns out to be a hilarious and heartwarming journey. After you see this movie you'll want to see more.

It's a great movie for high schoolers and up...
Knocked up is a funny, mature, intelligent and overall excellent movie with a great script. It deserves a lot of clapping and I really loved it. As you can already see, there are a LOT of sexual references and some actual sex but it's never extremely explicit. Some topless scenes too, but they all brief. Language is pretty frequent, with a LOT of f-bombs. Sometimes I wonder why the filmmakers think they NEED to put all this trashy talk into a GOOD MOVIE. We don't need this! It's just not necessary. Lots of drug content as well, but parents, you must come to accept that high schoolers can handle this. I'm fourteen and I saw it with ever needing to turn away or cover my eyes and close my ears. Its a great movie for 14 and up.

Absolutely hilarious!
Being a huge "Freaks and Geeks" fan, naturally i went to see this movie, and I was not dissapointed. Judd Apatow has an amazing gift for writing. The dialague was just brilliant, and so so funny. The movie had a lot of sex in it, and a lot of sex related dialague. They curse a lot, and all of Ben's friends constantly smoke pot. A really funny, great film for teens and up.

OK first I am 14 not whatever it says. I think this movie was definetly innapropriate but i still liked it! it was really funny! I think if you understand the movie and know that most of the scenes are bad than why shouldn't you see it? it's knowing hte difference between right and wrong.
