Parents need to know
Families can talk about the Butabi brothers' quest to get into the Roxbury. On what basis do clubgoers get let in? Are they superficial reasons? Saturday Night Live fans can discuss the best movies based on an SNL sketch. Does this one make the grade? Despite both being long-time members of the cast, Will Ferrell has become a much bigger movie star than Chris Kattan. Who are the most talented comedians to "graduate" from SNL?
Message
Social Behavior:
Doug and Steve stay focused to make their dream of getting into a prestigious nightclub come true.
Consumerism:
Drugs/Alcohol/Tobacco:
The Butabis suggest sniffing air from whipped-cream bottles. Various clubgoers drink alcohol.
Violence
Security officers throw the Butabi brothers out of a nightclub and an office building.
Sex
There are close-ups of bikini-clad women at the beach and the Butabi brothers wear thong-like Speedo swim briefs. In one extended scene, the brothers are in adjoining rooms about to sleep with women they met a club. Steve puts his hand on Emily's breast; they are heard briefly having sex. During a comical sex scene, Emily (clothed) has a laughably loud orgasm and then slips under the covers (oral sex is implied).
Language
One "f--k." Otherwise basic PG-13 curses: "ass," "assjob," "bitch," "s--t," and minor insults: "jackass," "idiots," "losers," etc.

What's the story?

Is it any good?
The plot is completely inane and exists solely to set up Ferrell and Kattan's gags. While no doubt Ferrell's immense popularity might make this oldie worth watching, anyone else will want their rental fee returned.
