Not Funny, Not PG
The Pink Panther was filled with stupid humor, sexual references, and just wasn't funny. Sure, the Viagra joke will go over kid's heads, but Steve Martin stumbling around with his head in a woman's crotch sure won't. A couple of laughs, but not worth the rental money.

Funny!
It was very funny! The only thing I didn't like was when "bowls" was pronounced "balls".

my daughter laughed and laughed
I took my daughter (just 10) and her friend (almost 10) to see this film in the theater. From the very first scene to the very last scene, they laughed and laughed. The Viagra jokes went right over their heads, but they just loved the slapstick humor. Sure it was sophomoric, but kids are sophomoric.

Hilarious!
Steve Martin does it again! No one else could have played this part. I thought this movie was hilarious! My daughter, who is 7, enjoyed it but not as much as I did. Some things were over her head which I was grateful for. I love the hamburger parts -- I laugh at that every time. Will buy this movie when it comes out. The theatre was filled with adults and kids and everyone was laughing. Go see it and then go buy a hamburger!!

Clever for older teens; PG iffy
This movie was hilarious and my my kids laugh but some of the content was inappropriate for children under 10. Many sexual refrences were displayed, yet hidden from children ever-so-cleverly.

Laughing is good!
The theater was packed with kids and adults. All the adults around me were laughing constantly, especially those of us who had seen the Peter Sellers' Pink Panther movies. Part of the fun was knowing that every time Clousteau touched something, there would be a funny disaster of some kind. The things that people are concerned about would go over the heads of most kids. For instance, Clousteau called Viagara his "middleaged magic" pill. The word Viagara wasn't even mentioned. Lighten up people. This was a movie that was lots of fun and lots of laughs!

I don't know why everyone hates it; this movie is hilarious! i laughed until it hurt! the suggestive themes and crude humor are iffy: but i think it would be fine 10+. (And come to think of it younger kids wouldent understand what they mean anyway.) Great family movie. 4 stars

Alright movie
I liked this movie. I thought it was pretty funny. Some of it was a little stupid, but thats just Steve Martin. It was definetly not as bad as some people say it was.

UGH!! Absolutely terrible!
I hated this movie. Some of it was funny, but most of it was terrible. Some fart jokes, some sexual references (Martin is giving secretary Heimlich, sidekick hears noises in the next room, looks in, sees Martin's back, you can guess the rest, and sidekick completely misconstrues the conversation), that kind of thing. I hated it. The best part was in the trailers. The Viagra reference (it falls down the sink, and he goes, "Oh my god! My miracle pill for the modern man!") was rather funny in delivery, but so out of place it wasn't funny. This is definitely the worst of Steve Martin's movies. (Yes... the worst of ALL of them.) No plot really, and the jokes were stale and overused. The stuff that I and my cousin (he was with me) laughed at was stuff that was put in the movie to be misconstrued. Other than that... it was no good. "The Pink Panter" has lost all of it's charm.

One of the worst movies of the year
Everyone loves the original Pink Panther and we all agree it's a classic. So why'd they remake it? Steve Martin does a terrible job try to make himself into the next Peter Sellers. I didn't laugh once in the whole film. The only thing I enjoyed was the apperence of Clive Owen as 008. The movie doesn't stay on track with the plot. It focuses on just trying to make people laugh and they end up trying to hard. Little kids may find the slapstick comedy entertaining but no one else will.
