Yuck!
-the first 5 minutes made me want to throw up -picture me watching this movie with a huge "?" above my head -Within an hour of the movie, more people were killed than how many people would be dead in a nuclear bombing -I could only watch on hour it was so bad -I really liked the first two movies and I will never know what happened

Disney can get away with murder
Aside from the movie just being awful and rightfully panned by critics, I felt horrible for the 10 year old girl sitting a few seats down from me. In the first half hour a child is hung, men fight for space to look up the skirt of a woman who was made to strip off most of her clothes, and a teenage girl is shot in the back of the head at point blank range as she cowers in the corner. Only Disney has the muscle to make this PG-13.
I rate this title iffy for age 11 and give itConfusing, but great movie!
This movie is long and confusing, but it is still a very enjoyable movie. Lots of drinking, and graphic violence will be found in this movie. Sexual content is a much bigger deal in this movie, but even so it's nothing kids 12 and older shouldn't see. Davy Jones is rather frightening, and aside from that the movie is kind of dark. I reccomend noone under the age of 12 should see this. If you do allow your 12 year old to see this, I reccomend you do so with caution.

This was the best movie ever!
I've seen all three and I am the proud owner of all three amazing movies! They are amazing in a sense that they are full of action, humour, and they make a great family film for kids that are older than eight years old. Great movies overall!

Pirates
It's not that it is a bad movie quite the oppesite, I just wouldn't let little kids watch it. There is a little sex secens and there is a ton of acholo use. I wouldn't want to give a little kid the wrong idea.

Too much waiting for too little fun
I kept waiting for the swashbuckling fun to start. What bits were fun were over way to soon. My 10 year old wouldn't watch it. After I finished I thought she'd made a good choice.

Good Follow-up with Great Visuals and Action Scenes!
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST left us with a cliff-hanger that built up so many problems that we knew the final installment of the trilogy was going to have lots of action and plot. Yet here it is and people are criticizing it for complex story lines. I disagree. The ending leaves a bit to be desired, but I thought the screen-writers did a good job fitting all of the subplots into one movie. I could understand it all. Jack is dead. The BLACK PEARL is gone. Now the ressurected Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, and the others must get him back. The acting is just as good as the first two. Some have said that Johnny Depp's role has been reduced to pure comic relief, but I disagree. He's just as much involved and witty as in one and two. Bloom and Knightley are just as good as Will and Elizabeth, and Rush is brilliant as Barbossa. But my personal favorties were Stellan Skarsgard as Bootstrap and Jack Davenport as Norrington. Visuals are great and the end battle is great, but the final minutes leave us hanging a bit. Violence is just as bad as in two, just more close-up shots (one particularly nasty shot shows a young woman shot point-blank in the head; no blood). Language is mild, and there is no more sexual innuendo than in one and two. As far as social behavior goes: well, they're pirates. A Good wrap-up. Hoping in vain for a fourth though. Highly recommended.

Puzzling to Find That This Is the Final Film
This is the last film and the makers make it look like there will be a forth film. But it does end one story line of the Black Peral. If you child is young and new to contiunous trillogy storylines. You should be sure to explain what happened in the past movie somehwere before 10 mintues when you see it and remind them during the movie what happened to that charrecter previously. But, over all this is a good movie with lots of violence.

Too long, two confusing
My 16 year old loved this in the theatres and bought the dvd the second day of release. My 13 missed it the theatres and watched the dvd. She found it boring and stupid. I was somewhere in between. The many plots twists and hidden agendas of the various characters was very confusing. In between the ships attacking each other, many scenes were too long and slow moving. I have a problem with an rum guzzling alchoholic pirate being a role model. In fact, I have a problem with the whole pirates as heros theme. I only watched the third movie, because I wanted to know how it all turned out. I wanted to know if Willo and Elizabeth ever got married, if Jack's compass ever showed him what he really wanted. Well, I'm glad that I didn't waste the money on the dvd, my daughter did.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Sexual Content (Pause): Kissing, implied marital sex. Some sexual innuendo. Violence (Pause): Intense action violence. Language (Not an Issue): Some pirate talk. Social Behavior (On): Will and Jack, despite several betrayals, sacrifice what they want most and act selflessly. Jack may actually have a few morals this time around. Strong female and minority characters. Commercialism (Not an Issue): Part of a huge marketing empire for Disney. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco (Pause): Pirates drink rum.

Disappointed
I am a HUGE Pirates fan and I always have been. ever since we first met Captain Jack Sparrow, ashed up on the Port in a sinking boat like object calling himself Mr Smith and stealing coins from the docks. This latest installment leaves me speachless. It was a very big disappointment. It seemed to me that they have taken the plot nowhere and wasted 3 hours of my time. I am very sad to say that, unless they come out with a part 4, the Pirates franchise has ended on a very low note.

Too Violent
This movie is marketed as a kid movie, but it was way to violent, showing children being hung and women being shot point blank in the head, just to name a tiny bit. It was not as funny as the first, and way more bloody than the second. My kids won't be seeing this one... wish I wouldn't have.

Great movie, but a little scary.
I saw this movie when I was 10, and the scene with Davy Jones sticking his tenticles through a guy's mouth and then out of his nose scared me. This movie has some frightening images and a lot of violence. Depending on what your child can handle, I'd say this movie is age appropriate for 12-13+ year olds.

hard to follow
I found myself getting very confused in these movies. I cound not keep up with what was going on. Over all it was an "okay" movie. But, still, it was not the best. It just was very hard for me to follow along.

Greatest Trilogy Ever
This movie was epic. Completely epic. I'm 14 and I loved it. The battle scenes were SPOT ON. Not overdone with graphic affects, not underdone with the intention of being "child apropriate." The characters are well-thought-out, and while I think Elizabeth is a whore, even her backround and personality are well done. NICE JOB DISNEY!

BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!
This movie is one of my favorites! A little iffy though for smaller kids because of the violence.

My friend invited me to see this movie with him, and I had enjoyed the first two, so I agreed. There were only about 20 minutes of the almost three-hour movie that I didn't close my eyes. The plot didn't make much sense to me, the violence was RIDICULOUS, and I don't think it lived up the first two at all.

The third and (if you read the Disney Q&A, not) final episode of Pirates of the Caribbean has to be the best. It is beautifully done (except for one sequence where a character grows and becomes disproportionate; that's always bothered me) and the acting is mostly good. I find that Will and Elizabeth have become less believable as they become more pirate-y. The other actors are amazing as usual: Johnny Depp delivers, Naomi Harris is witchy as ever (if a bit too weepy; you'll see), and Bill Nighy is absolutely AMAZING as the tentacled Davy Jones. As with the 2nd Pirates, Commonsense doesn't give an entirely satisfying report. So, here I go. Sexual Content: Elizabeth is unashamed about making out with random guys; there's 4 in this movie. Other than that, not really an issue. Violence: People are stabbed, shot, blown up with fireworks, drowned, hanged, and hit with pistols. (No one is eaten this time!) Business as usual for the Pirates crew. Language: not an issue Social Behavior: Everybody seems to have someone to betray here, except for the least likely two of the bunch, who are either trying to forget an ancient betrayal or right it. Commercialism: again, N/A Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco: Same as always I really recommend this movie. There's lots of great lines and it has a pretty satisfying, open ending. Full bore and into the abyss!

THIS IS AWESOME!
Ok, this movie is absolutley awesome! My little brother IN PRESCHOOL loves it! We own all three of these movies, and he likes to go around saying he is Jack Sparrow! Seriously, unless your kid is squeemish or scared of violence or Davy Jones (awesomely-weird) tentacles, it's fine. The kissing scene at the end with Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knighltey, not a big deal. U got to see this movie!

Great Johnny Depp movie.

Loved it.
I still don't think anyone under the age of 12 should watch for the reason that this movie does have violent, frightening scenes, and alchohol is also an issue. But it is a good movie for ages 12+

Pirates 3 was awesome, yes there was some violence but no blood, it made me cry at the end when one of the characters dies, but johnny depp made it really funny

One of the Best Movies of the Year
Overall it's a great movie. You really shouldn't watch it though if you don't like adventure movies, or if you do like them but you haven't seen the previous two movies. It has a lot of talented well known actors and actresses in the movie like Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly and Chow Yung Fat. It is a very well done movie and everyone should watch it.

Not the best movie in the series, but it sill delivers all you could want
At Worlds End is not the best movie in the Pirates series, but still a must see for fans of the series and action movies. This one can be a bit slow at times, but fear not, eventually(sadly closer to the end than the begining)it picks up speed. My one regret in this one is that Davy Jones dosent seem anywhere as near as dangoris as he did in the second movie. The main "scary" villians this time are human.

This movie is a great watch for kids my age. It's pretty intense but not unsuitable. A definite must-see.
