Reno 911!: Miami
What’s the Story?
In Reno 911!'s big-screen extravaganza, the improv crew responsible for the anything-goes comedy series heads from Nevada to Miami Beach, where the bumbling officers of the Reno Sheriff's Department -- led by Daisy Duke-shorts-loving Lieutenant Jim Dangle (Thomas Lennon) -- are barred from a national police convention, so they indulge in a little Miami-flavored debauchery. The next day, the seriously hung-over team learns that the conventioneers have been hit by a bioterrorism attack, and that Dangle and Co. are now literally the only available "trained" law enforcers in all of Miami. That's when the fun of witnessing the inept Reno gang roam Miami's streets begins. Sassy Deputy Raineesha Williams (Niecy Nash) patrolsSouth Beach in a thong, deputies James Garcia (Carlos Alazraqui) and S. Jones (Cedric Yarbrough) have an alligator encounter, and Dangle blows up a beached whale. Is It Any Good?
RENO 911!: MIAMI isn't much more than a super-sized episode of the late-night show. The main difference is that instead of blurred images of topless (and bottomless) suspects and bleeped expletives and sexual banter, viewers get the full R-rated experience. The uninitiated may wonder what the fuss is all about, but hardcore Reno! fans will be left hoping for a sequel.Watch Our Video Review Best for older teens
