What Parents Need to Know
About Rugrats Go Wild
Parents need to know that the movie has a fair amount of potty humor, including jokes involving dog snot, bird poop, and barfing. Viewers see some bare baby tushes. Characters are in peril, but it's never really scary. A character who's bonked on the head loses his memory and thinks he's a child, which may be confusing or disturbing to some children. Parents may want to talk to children about some of the characters' behavior to make sure kids know they shouldn't imitate what they see.

Potty humor galore!
The story line was great, the animation was really beautiful , the characters were familiar and fun, and believe it or not Rugrats meets Thornberrys made for an engaging story. The only problem was that every 3 minutes there was a poop, puke, or bugger (sp? I mean snot) joke which produced "Ooh gross!" from all the kids in the audience but not a lot of laughter. Wish the creators had just stuck to the story and left out the potty humor. Just showing the characters' warts and strengths in new situations was funny enough. And the ultimate message of triumphing over adversity through personal courage, caring, and comradarie would have made this a great kids film without being too trite or sappy. The potty humor made it a tainted experience. P.S. Bruce Willis will forever be associated in my mind with smelly behinds and dog poop!

This is a cute movie for kids, but only see it once or twice...
This is a funny movie for kids ages 5-10 will enjoy. It's not great, but it could be worth seeing. I think there is some stupid toys and stuff that they advertise too much but I guess it's okay.
