My son saw this when he was 7 and absolutely loves this movie. The laughter and super hero role models were an immense interest to him and remains one of his top 10 movies of all time!

Great movie for tweens
My son watches this over and over. He loves it! The violence is very cartoonish. The message is that labeling a person as lesser is wrong and that everyone is of value.

Fun Fun Fun
I think this movie is really cute. It is just really fun. Since it is about superheroes I didn't have issues with the fight scenes. In the end the heroes win and the villians lose. The dad had a big ego, but it's a movie, and was meant to be silly. My three year old loves it more than my 7 year old.

Great fun for families.
My husband and I watched this first and really enjoyed it. When I got sick with the flu, I let the kids (boy 7, girl 4) come watch it with me so that I could rest. I had been worried about the fight scenes but my (very excitable) kids handled them well and we talked about how we could have handled it better. All in all we had a blast and the kids loved it. The only downside is that the dad is written very weak and kind of clueless, not a good picture of a role model dad.

High School with a superhero twist.
This movie is the classic underdog wins the day. It says that you don't have to be in the "in" group to be a winner. It is ok to be who you are and use your differences and those of your friends, to solve a problem. I think more teens need this type of encouragement.

Cute Flick
I saw this in the theatre with 4 kids, ages 6, 6, 8, 9. All enjoyed it thoroughly as did the 2 adults. It was cute, about living up to your parents expectations. Something all kids today deal with.

Fun for All!
My three superhero loving boys (ages 5,7 & 10) loved this movie. There was nothing I had to explain and nothing I worried they might repeat! My 2yr old daughter and 3 nieces also enjoyed it! The first movie my whole family has agreed on in years!

great family movie
me and my sil took kids from 2-8 yrs old and they all loved the movie, all of the adults thought it was a great kid movie, kinda cheesy at times, kinda like a modern power ranger type movie. even my 2 yr old loved it. some small violence parts where they fight but its a superhero movie you have to expect that.

I read the reviews before taking my children 8 and 12. Movie was funny, lot of action, message hopefully received was look beyond the facade to the "real" person underneath.. however in this movie the word "suck" is used and I wish the "general" common sense media review had noted this because I find this a very offensive word and probably wouldn't have taken my 8 yr olds.

Good movie to share with kids of all ages
We saw this movie with 5 kids age range 7 - 14 and it appealed to all of them. Parts of it were a bit 'cheesy' but that is to be expected in a Disney movie! It was entertaining and did a good job of showcasing cliques and the perils of high school life

Too Much Fun!
Cute movie...fun for the whole family. There are good guys, bad guys, and some who aren't what they seem. Great plot...and the good guys win out! YEAH! Just a fun movie for the whole family--young and old alike.

A fun movie!
I went expecting campy - which it was, but in a very fun way. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it! It really was a movie that mom and dad could giggle at along with the kids.

Great family movie
I took my four children ages 3 to 14 to this movie and they all really enjoyed it...even the 14 year old who thought he should see a pg13 movie instead! It was funny, action packed and entertaining for everyone!

Kids loved it. for Adults -very predictable.
Kids loved it. OK for parents, not great, but fun. Better for the over 7 crowd. Tweens liked it also.Nothing very offensive.

Kids loved it, Mom found it predictible, but entertaining
If you're looking to be entertained, then this movie is for you. Yes, it is very predictable, but my kids didn't figure out who the mastermind was before it was revealed. Yes, the son does lie to his dad, but he comes clean a few days later. And yes, dad and son lie to mom, but I didn't think much of it. And there is one sentence about making out (but the sentence is past tense). I beleive there were 2 kisses between non-married couples (high school students). The super heros wear laytex (looks like Batman suit in recent Batman movies), but nothing you wouldn't expect to see superheros wear in any other movie. All in all, I thought this was a nice family movie and would be willing to take my 3 and 6 year olds to see it again.

"I don't know where I stand on this."
I had no concerns as well as no highlights. Will easily caved into peer pressure and then ran off to a party without his parents permission. Even though the movie is about a school, there was nothing educational about it, And just try to find a positive message in all this. I was not concerned about Swearing or violence because I knew that this movie was not brave enough to carry that out. not that they needed to. If you or your kids like it, good for you.

This is a ok movie from disney. It's like star wars, harry potter, narnia and other movies combined into one to make a disney superhero movie. I have seen Sky High so many times, 7. It is has a weird climate but it has a good message. It is a good moovie for families.

i saw this with my friend and her two brothers who are 7 and 8 they enjoyed it,so i would have to recommend it for ages7-10 depending on the childs interest, and their level of maturity since there is quite a bit of comic violence

Pretty Good
Although it isn't as good as The Incredibles, Sky High is a very enjoyable and lovable movie. If I had the option I would have given it three and a half stars. As for the violence and other stuff like that, the violence and language could be handled by anyone over the age of four.
