This movie is hilarious for all ages! Even adults, the kids and I both love watching it all the time! it's defenently not SUPERbad, but does contain some sexual situations suchas, looking at pornography (breasts and nipples are visible in this part), oral sex, menstrulation on a leg, sex scenes, a PALOOZA! of detailed drawn penises, condoms and spermicidal lube! and a barrage of F-words! but other than that this film is hilarious!

The movie is about teenagers buying alcohol to get laid. However, neither of them end up going through with it. One of them doesn't want to because he's drunk. The other doesn't get any because the girl he's trying to get with doesn't actually drink.

I laughed till my nose started bleeding
Although this may be raunchier, Superbad is like animal house for some of the older adults. If your child is 16 and up, he/she has herd everything said in this movie already, its just part of being of teenager. It starts out with three teenagers aiming to get laid but in the end two of the characters learn to respect women as more than sexual objects and the other gets hooked with some cops. The cops are the only unrealistic part in this movie and that should be obvious. Great movie but only 16 and up. And parents, trust me, if you're only allowing your kid to watch superbad with you, just don't. It will be way to embarrassing.

i think this movie is for kids 13 and up. i'll give you a more clear desciption of the bad content; it was manly rated R for the strong language and drug content. 13 year old boys have heard all the bad language before and all for the sex jokes there frequent but ive seen pg-13 movies with the same amount of sex humour.for drug content its brief in one scene and kids 13 and over should know all about the drugs used so its nothing new.and for sexual content theres a scene with tons of drawings of male private parts but when you think about it it's nothing 13 year old boys have never seen before and theres no actual sex jusst people making out on beds and saying some dirty things. and there brief comical violence in a dream sqeunce and its ccind of gory but boys can handle it. so a strong recomendation for boys 13 and up

Unbelievably stupid!
This movie is such a waste of time. It is all about teenage boys trying to get laid with the girls that are too wasted to know what they are doing. Also teenage drinking and partying is a big theme too. In one scene a girl has her period on a boys leg. There is also a scene where one boy holds a porno magazine (very brief) but obviously breast visible on the mag. Also there are a ton of drawings of penis' in the movie, very realistic in a cartoon way. Also two kids are about to have sex and talk about getting wet and boners but no nudity throughout the whole movie except the penis drawings and the porno mag. There is plenty of drinking, and going against the law. There is also a fight between two boys and another in a bar scene.

Some funny stuff, but mostly unnecessary filth
This was probably one of the most unnecessary movies I have ever seen. I went with two 35-40 years old buddies, and each of us were stunned when it was over. We had all laughed at American Pie and Porky's and the rest, but this one left us just feeling gross and sad and a bit sick. Whenever the curly-haired character is on the screen, I wanted to get up and leave. The only reason I stayed to the end was because I just wanted get a snapshot at how badly our society was getting at promoting and alledgedly enjoying carnal, worthless garbage. Watch something else!

This is movie is just pathetic. It has relation what so ever to a normal teenage kid. It is just filth for filth sake and nothing more. No creativity or thought went in to this.

Worse than American Pie?
American Pie 1 - 3 were focused on the same exact thing as this movie, losing your virginity in the first one and just plain sex in the second and third. Yeah, there was more vulgar language in this movie but there isn't one teenager on this earth that isn't faced with this kind of language on a daily basis. If these kids are old enough to go to school they're old enough to see this movie; its a movie about what they're currently encountering.

Frat mentality at its best
As 40 yr old adults my husband and I laughed throughout the movie. It was just what I expected. I don't think there is anything appro about it for teens though. Love this website and wish more of our kids' friend's parents would utilize it. We don't think we're conservative but we respect the ratings when choosing what our kids can see.

I felt like I should go straight to church after watching this
First of all, I can't believe the age of the kids already rating this movie online (most 15 or 16). I am 20 and felt disgusting after watching this movie-like i needed my own mouth washed out with soap. Granted, there were some funny parts- but most of the roaring laughter in the theatre came from "did they just say that?!" I think this movie is more of a college frat boy classic than a high school flick. Immidiately after leaving the theatre I called my 51 year old father who had been aching to see it and told him not to waste his money or time. I could've gone my whole life without seeing this.

Not for Teens
I did like this movie. I love dark humor but I am also 32 yrs old. This movie is NOT for teens. Parents really need to review every movie before their kids see it. My teens will NOT be seeing this movie. It was funny to me though.

you can say this movie is bad and profane but the truth is, this movie is realistic. The movie was about a couple of 17 year old kids trying to get laid. Any guy knows that when he was 17, he was trying to get laid. This movie was about teens who swear every five minutes. I'm a sophmore and we swore that much in sixth grade and still do now. This movie was about kids drinking. Well we drink. So what. It's only "underage" if the law says it is. In some counties the drinking age is 14. Plus, when you were in highschool, atleast 80 percent of you had atleast one drink. Really, condemning teens not to watch this movie is an insult to you because you're naive enough to believe they either A: haven't seen it or B:Haven't seen it and don't do everything in it.

I watched this with my best friend and it was EXTREMELY funny. We were laughing throught out the whole movie, but it's NOT for younger kids. They said the F-word 233 times (we counted. haha we're nerds like Mclovin) and every single sentence was about sex. The whole movie is 2 guys trying to get alcohol for a party. But it's funny. If you think your kid can handle 233 F-words and constant talk of sex and some nudity and pictures of penises, let them watch it. It's only worth it if they're old enough to get the jokes though.

Superbad is Super Bad!
This was funny but very, very filthy. 176 f-words and about 15 p*ssy words and about 30 d*cks. Talk of sex is in almost every sentence and talk of alcohol and drugs. Cops are shown reckless just as much as the teens themselves. But beside this very, very filthy film is a sweet storyline of how bestest of friends Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera)are going to be away for about 4 years seeing how they got into different colleges. But Parents PLEASE watch this film first. Cause this is every parents worse nightmare as a "teen" comedy. Mature Teens 15 can see it but not good for anybody under that.

AWESOME!!
This movie may have a little bit of bad content, but it has a very good message in the end. It tells people that underage drinking is VERY bad and that you should never do it. There is some sexual content and some breif nudity and language, containg: F*ck (a few times), Sh*t, D*ck, ect... I think this movie is appropriate for maybe 11 and up... It depends. This movie is very funny and has a little bit of inappropriate content, but there is still some good things about this movie.
