What’s the Story?

Reviewed by Emily Ashby

The made-for-TV Disney movie TWITCHES TOO stars Sister, Sister alums Tia and Tamera Mowry as Alex and Camryn, recently reunited twin sisters who are adjusting to their new identities as princesses of the magical kingdom (and alternate dimension) of Coventry. Picking up where Twitches left off, the sequel finds Alex and Camryn settling into the new reality of their double existences, having recently freed their realm from a dark presence. But it soon becomes apparent that their past actions haven't closed the door on evil in Coventry after all. A menacing, shadowy force begins to haunt the girls, as well as their birth mother, Miranda (Kristen Wilson), and it will take courage and faith from the whole family to set the truth free and rid Coventry of evil once and for all.

Is It Any Good?

3

Twitches Too is trademark Disney entertainment, combining a well-scripted storyline with clean, family-friendly content. Once again, the Mowry sisters steal the show; their energy and obvious enjoyment of their roles makes the movie fun to watch. Parents can rest assured that there's nothing to worry about here beyond some mild fantasy violence, which shouldn't bother tween viewers at all, and a few characters' cell-phone addictions.
